I mean if you're already getting paid well in college, what's the point to going pro?

College is about the experience and he's loving it, plus he's at Duke so he's having a great experience.

He's only had one year of college, if he leaves that expos over forever. Meanwhile he could play 15 years in the league doing the same thing year after year.

East Play-In Picture

Miami is 5 back of Detroit, they're locked into 7 at best. Orlando and Atlanta are both 1.5-2 games back, then Chicago is a whole 4 games back of Atlanta but 2.5 ahead of the Nets and 76ers.

My bet is the current 7-10 will be the play-in. The real question is who is hosting Chicago in the 9/10 game.

West Play-In Picture

Of course there's a big fight to stay out of the Play-In between the Warriors, Wolves, Kings and Clippers, all within 1.5 games of one another.

Suddenly the bottom of the West looks pretty shitty. Dallas at 10, 3 games ahead of the Suns, 4 ahead of the Blazers :eek2:, and 5 ahead of the Spurs. Which of these 4 teams, all but one of whom should all be tanking, will finish at 10? The Suns really have no excuse to not take this but they do have a difficult schedule remaining.

I'm obviously biased re: the Warriors but their goal should be to move up 3 games and catch Houston for #5-- if they fall out of 6th, that is a problem.

My prediction is 7-9 stay the same but the Suns move into #10.

Wow. I just listened to the first minute of this and @Amajorfucup and I have had this peak vs sustained excellence conversation a dozen times.

This dude, making tens of millions for his sports analysis, just said Windhorst introduced him to that paradigm for the first time.

It never occurred to him that there are multiple ways to define greatness.

Simply embarrassing.

It hurts me to say this but a Lakers-Celtics Finals is very intriguing. The NBA knows what it’s doing and fuck them for that.

And it’s also very sad that the NBA needs this to survive. If the game was exciting to watch, it shouldn’t matter who’s playing imo
