Miami hasn't been doing good without him and the warriors have been winning since jimmy was traded to them.

Miami no longer has a leader.
They are a team with a bunch of good players but no leader.

Jimmy's unstable ass went to a team with multiple leaders,

Jimmy can just be a "regular guy" now.....and not lead a team...that always works well

We beat them earlier in the year without jimmy.
With half our roster out and terry rozier trying to top September 11th last night they squeaked by in the final minutes.
I'll take that match up. They don't scare me at all

Wildest sincere statements of the year in here. I'm worried about you. Seek help if necessary! There are resources!

Jimmy is one of those people who makes the room how he feels.

He has been a better short-term boost than I expected.

Still, I've been adamant that the Warriors should not keep him for the full length of his contract (unless he helps them win a title or come very very close).

Jimmy took that team to 2 finals appearances that they never got the job done.

Let's not act like Jimmy was some kind of scrub because shit didn't work out.

Riley has fucked up that team as well, it's never good when you have unhappy player because the GM doesn't want to give him more money.

This some bullshit

I see Westbrook standing right next to him...

I think this is a deceptive snapshot. #20 is not guarding Jokic. There is another Nuggets player right next to Jokic. So you have 3 Kings next to 2 Nuggets.

That's is a hell of a way to exaggerate a guy being double-teamed.

Jimmy was always a great player...but he is lazy as fuck.

You cannot have your team leader always acting up, missing games for no injury.
It looks bad to young players.

and year by year you could see Jimmy getting worse with his "I don't give a fuck about basketball" attitude.

Other player (when they are out) you would see them travel with their team as a "leader"

not Jimmy....he is in New York selling big ego coffee. :smh: :smh:

I watched this and thought "Oh my GOD"

Then I go to look up the box score and saw the Mavs lost by 30.

But Klay had 28 points on 27 shots in 34 minutes, shooting 42% from 3 and leading the team in points.

So it seems unfair to me.

It's cool tho, cuz shit like this is why the Celtics won't be winning the chip. Tatum didn't play last night either. The cheapest nosebleeds for Saturday nights nationally televised game in Boston is $350. The Celtics know that game is more important than any game they'll play in the playoffs this season. So no since in even trying today.

That's a shame and funny as shit!

And yes he is that good.

It’s a great strategy. Timberwolves kind of did something similar in the playoffs last season. Coach JJ perfected it and now the blueprint is out there. Can’t do nothing but respect it and see how the Nuggets adjust lol.

I was curious where this engagement bait come from. It is probably made up and you can get thousands of views tweeting this every day.

NBACentral cited @AmicoHoops-- Sam Amico, who describes himself as "Senior NBA writer Hoops Wire @WireHoops. Formerly pro basketball for Fox Sports, Sports Illustrated, Amico Hoops." Seems legit, right?

Looked to see if he tweeted that and saw he tweeted an article with that claim in the headline. Simple enough, case close, right?

But if you look at the article, Sam Amico didn't write it. Someone named Ashish Mathur did.

It is the lowest possible quality, with that (probably made up) claim in the first sentence and a bunch of recycled generic shit below it.

The San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat will pursue a Kevin Durant trade this offseason, an NBA source told Hoops Wire.
Durant will make $54.7 million next season in the final year of his contract. The Phoenix Suns are expected to trade the future Hall of Famer this summer.
Durant is a four-time scoring champion, a two-time champion, a two-time Finals MVP and a one-time MVP. The swingman has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Suns.
The Warriors had a deal to acquire Durant at this year’s NBA trade deadline, but Durant blocked it because he didn’t want to get traded “midway through the season.”
“I just didn’t wanna get traded midway through the season,” Durant told NBA reporter Malika Andrews of ESPN. “It was nothing against my time with the Warriors. Or I heard it was because I don’t like Draymond (Green). At the end of the day, I just didn’t wanna move and I wanted to see it through with my team in Phoenix and see what we can do through the rest of the season. So I’m glad I’m still there.”
The Suns are only 29-33 despite having Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal. They are in 11th place in the Western Conference standings.
Phoenix wouldn’t even be in the play-in tournament if the season ended today.
Durant is averaging 26.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 49 games this season while shooting 52.7% from the field, 39.8% from beyond the arc and 82.5% from the free-throw line. The Texas product turns 37 in September.
A 15-time All-Star, Durant has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists. He was the second overall pick in the 2007 draft.
Durant doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract, but he and the Suns are expected to work together on a trade so he can land somewhere he wants to be.

Then if you look up the author, it's a dude with an "Open To Work" badge on his LinkedIn profile:

I think this says a lot about the state of sports journalism... The article doesn't matter, that's why it is dogshit produced with zero effort. All that matters is the tweet. Which is misattributed and backed up by nothing.

You can argue about the 90s vs today with regard to NBA eras but you can't do it with journalism... :smh:

I should have said hundreds of thousands.

Look at the numbers this tweet did in just 40 minutes:

He was never good if he had to put the ball on the court.

He looks uncoordinated dribbling.

Celtics on rest mode right now.

The Celtics game is a national game....not because of the lakers....you should show more gratitude that you are allowed to play the Celtics on national prime time TV.

We like to give charity to the less fortunate.

You should be thanking us for allowing you to be in our presence
