Sadly, you guys don't realize the media wouldn't be doing this without Mick's blessing. They go 30 years never criticizing the guy, now suddenly every day they're bringing up his age and incompetence, even on his birthday? Mick more than likely is pushing Riley out for a younger executive. It's pretty much a given at this point. Let's see if Mick backs him publicly as the season winds down.

Just imagine if we had a real Celtics fan on the board. And imagine if he were Black. He'd prolly post articles like this instead of nutriding dead Lakers that the Buss family moved on from....

In all seriousness Magic might be one of those old heads who dont understand the current game.

Most of them don't. It's 20 times more advanced then when they played. You didn't have to guard the 3 point line when Magic played. And that clip I just posted of Michael Jordan shows the shitty level of defensive technique they faced.

Magic has never had to close on a 3 point shooter in his life. Much less play against a team that has 3 to 4 guys on the court at the same who can spread the floor. The athletes and the game are just a completely different beast.

That said, no one likes turning on a big game and all the stars are sitting out. That aint a good look for anyone.

So what's the solution?

Less games per season? Fewer minutes per game for the stars? A longer season with more rest between games and less travel?

No simple solution here.

The problem is the wide open style of play that the commish and the league wanted is very taxing on the body. All that running up and down going 100 mph and having to chase people off 3 point lines takes a lot of stamina and leads to injuries. In the 90s there was nowhere near as much motion or movement. It's easy to play every game when you standing around watching all the action in the post for half the game and don't gotta guard out to the 3 point line. Today you constantly gotta be moving. That's why no one plays 82 games and the TEAMS (not the players) hold them out of so many games for injury concerns. I think fans if they wanna see 130-120 every night gotta factor in players are gonna need 10-15 nights off a year. It's unrealistic to expect 82 games of this and high level play in the playoffs. Ive seen someone say the players will ask for less games, but that means less pay and less revenue for the league so we'll see if they go for it.

Ain’t no fucking way he did this man :smh:
The call came down From ESPN heads and Silver.:smh::smh: man

You can't talk truth about the LeBron family.
So Stephen A.can't mess up the new bag he is about to get from ESPN....now he folded.

LeBron is extra sensitive about the media talking about Bronny lifestyle.

The LeBron family is the golden child that must be handled with kid glove. The NBA and ESPN just signed the biggest NBA deal.

So they need to get as much from this old LeBron train as they can before it derails.
