Agreed 100% and I have a feeling maybe they were since Ian Rapport (who I hate) indicated the saints deal was actually lower than what another team offered but he wanted to play under the Saints coach and QB.

I think it's a cap space issue. Not much left. I guess they could move money around though.

I actually like Jalen Hurts and thought he would be the Dak Prescott of this draft --- A qb drafted in the later rounds who ends up doing exceeding expectations and doing better than some qbs drafted before him. I was hoping that he would get drafted by the colts or the patriots and ball out.

What pissed me and most eagles fans off was spending a 2nd rd pick on a QB when there were so many other quality players on the board that could have an impact right away.
Especially when we have so many other needs...Mims, Fulton etc were all on the board at the time.
Shit reminded me of when the drafted Kevin kolb in the second rd over cats like Eric weddle and Lamar Woodley.
