Put an asteric on it if he does, because of 17 games. Still a great season though.

Shit the 72 dolphins pop champagne every year the last undefeated team loses.

Oj 2000 yard season is some amazing shit for 14 games.

All the other 2000 yard rushers hit it in 16games.
i think all records should be treated that way
so the old heads still get recognition for when THEY Did it, plus the new record holders get to shine too.
basically to account for the length of season (14 games, 16, 17, etc.)
just my .02

Shameful that Sterling Sharpe continues to get shafted by the Hall of Fame voters but these people are trying to make Eli first ballot. Eli was never concerned a top ten quarterback but somehow they're trying to justify it with two Superbowl wins over New England.

Meanwhile,Sterling was considered 1a or 1b before he got injured. Him and Jerry Rice were far ahead than most of the receivers in that time period. Mind you, this was before Favre was traded to the Packers.

I don't think you should put Terrell Davis in that category. He sat out 8 quarters in 1998 due to the Broncos blowing out their opponents for most of that season(that's an equivalent of two games). I think he would have broke 2,000 in less games if the Broncos didn't sit him down...imo

The '98 Broncos had the #2 offense that season.
