I'm always rooting for black Qbs and Gms so I hope that works out.
And I appreciate them not taking a CB, and drafting a QB

The BEARS talent evalaution staff had Mahomes on the board and pace said fukk
that trub is my choice. Stupid cac boy that he was the 2nd comin of Drew Brees.
However, I did think Justin Fields would be the QB
but former coach nagy was trash as a head coach and former off. coord. getsy
was still wet around the ears with his inability to coach and adapt towards defenses.

Yeah Fields was set up to fail because of everything you mentioned. The OL was trash and he didn't have any weapons.....Prior to Moore, they had ZERO Wrs....Mooney was probably the best WR he had and he wasn't that great nor was he consistent....
I am not sure how Fields was in high school, but I can tell you one thing about Caleb....Folks was saying he was going to the league back when he was in high school in the DC area....Folks that are heavy in youth sports in the DC area was like yeah he got it...

I don't understand why people are having a hard time understanding this. You have to have insurance. Detroit pretty much did the same thing. If Goff gets hurt or leaves, you got Hooker right there ready. Granted they took him later in the draft, but it still applies.
Yup and ATL was thinking they will probably never be this high in the draft over the next 2-3 years so let’s get our guy and use the same process GB did with Jordan Love. Hell GB didn’t with Aaron Rodgers too.

There’s a couple of undrafted picks that seem decent and we got another wr that should carry the torch like victor cruz, odel Beckham…. We just counting down the days to eventually get rid of Daniel jones to see what our team really can do…. This yr either Daniel jones either gonna play his heart out cause he know he on the hot seat or play like ass and we get another top draft pick either way he’s gone
I'm good with what he did. I can't front, I was praying they didn't reach and take JJ McCarthy w/ the 6th pick so I was definitely ecstatic when I heard Nabers name called. For the most part I think we had a good draft.
At first, during the first round, I felt like it was going to be a disaster. However looking at the picks he filled in the holes we had, especially with the amount of picks we ended up with.
We got a WR.
We got a Safety
We got help for the D line
Got a bruiser RB
I'm happy with the draft.
What’s crazy I was listening to some beat reporter on XM yesterday and he was saying there is a real chance Drew Lock might end up being the starter. I doubt it because DJ getting paid too much money, but thought that was interesting.
Hoping Hyatt can turn into a solid #2.
