Love this. As a black coach, AG knows this may be his only shot as a HC, and you can tell he's going to do things his way. PERIOD.

Spoke to a coach today who says they’ll no longer take any ‘Rooney Rule’ interviews. They added this year’s sessions would be their last.

The Rooney Rule has increased exposure and created opportunity since its implementation with the help of Johnnie Cochran (RIP) and Cyrus Mehri.
Alternately, the sentiment above speaks to the hurt the mandate can potentially create if a prospect feels disingenuous interaction.
