Not really understanding the Deebo trade.
Washington already had a solid 1, 2 punch in Terry McLaurin and Dyami Brown.

Dyami Brown stats:

2021 == 165 yards w/ 0 TD
2022 == 143 yards w/ 2 TD's
2023 == 168 yards w/ 1 TD
2024 == 308 yards w/ 1 TD

:hithead:
I guess not

Well Dyami did play well in the playoffs a couple months ago :cool:
But there's no telling what production Washington will get from him this coming year
They needed more firepower to compete with the Lions & Eagles
Because they need to get to the Superbowl, before Jayden Daniels rookie contract is up
The time is now, their window is open right now
Can't afford to "hope" that a rookie WR in this years draft steps up

Not mad at it. We only gave up a 5th rounder and only paying him $17 million.

Hopefully he can stay healthy

Age, speed, size, and upside....

Deebo has peaked out. Everybody said the same thing when the Panthers traded Diontae Johnson for a 5th Rounder, and thought the Ravens made the best move. How that work out?

The Eagles traded a third round pick to us for Dotson. The team won a super bowl....Diontae was on some weirdo stuff last year also...

Time will tell, but a 75% Deebo is better than what we had last year......we getting a player that's motivated because he is in the last year of his contract....

It's all upside with Deebo...We only locked with him for 1 year and we gave up a 5th round pick......

The Deebo trade is a fair trade.

I was justifying the Mingo trade, because it was posted, like nobody understood it. Eagles would have won the Super Bowl without Dotson.

Mingo is only 23 (former 2nd round pick), Deebo is 29, both are risks, and neither will be big difference makers. Washington already had a top 3 offense.

Numbers have not leaked yet, so honestly I'm not sure
But I'm assuming market rate, similar to Trevor Lawrence
But they'll probably structure the contract so the 9ers could get out, if Purdy does not produce :dunno:
Whatever purdy gets, he won't be worth it. He's a white boy, so of course they're gonna give him a lot of money when he hasn't done shit to be worth that much.
