REAKING: #Bengals WRs Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins exclusively tell me they’ve agreed to contract extensions with the team.
Ja'Marr gets: 4-years, $161M with $112M guaranteed — making him the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history.
Tee gets: 4-years, $115M with the first two years guaranteed — making him the highest paid WR2 in NFL history.
Straight defense in the draft..

I don’t think offense gonna be the problem lol. They gotta hit the hell out of the draft. I mean they gotta find 3 or 4 defensive starters which is a tall task.
I mean of course they did they better lol. AJ and Devonta top 5 but Chase is probably the best receiver in the league.
Chase & Higgins gonna have to play defense too, since they gave all that money to them.
Chase is overpaid like a motherfucka though. Until he wins a superbowl, is when that money would be worth it.

Higgins is nice but they should’ve let him walk. But they kept drafting their feet on it. Should’ve traded him.but the way people talk about Burrow I guess the plan is first to 40 wins lol
I mean Lamb and Jefferson got 34 and 35. Chase getting 5 more million? I think he’s the best in the league. Him and Jefferson. So 5 million more than Jefferson is extreme to me but 6 million more than Lamb is right. Unless I got the numbers wrong but I thought Jefferson did get the 35 and then Lamb signed under that.
This is what happens when you pay players early vs. waiting until the team has zero leverage in contract talks.....
Chase & higgins wanted to stay and play together, the owner & GM would've ran the risk of chase not signing that extension if higgins left which is why they extended both. I guess you gotta make both players happy and vice versa.
yeah, bengals pretty much cap strapped now since they don't have much money to sign a defensive player on the market that's left which is why they have to turn to trying to draft one.
yeah, higgins and chase should play both positions since they got paid what they wanted, have them motherfuckers play Cornerback as well.

Chase said last season in a clip that he wanted to be the highest paid player getting more than justin jefferson.
I feel like the eagles got a steal but then again, they're underpaid for what they've accomplished along with other players like Chase getting all that money being the highest paid player who never won the superbowl. But like you said, timing means everything.
