i grew up in DC and there has always been somewhat of a rivalry between DC and B-more. (the cities)

I was watching a segment on Get Up where Bart Scott was talking bout this and he brought up a good point. Defenses are not allowed to use other players to gain momentum at the line of scrimmage which is essentially what the tush push is. It gives offenses an unfair advantage. If tush push is allowed then it should be only right to allow defenses to have an allowed countermeasure.

If it's illegal for a defensive player to push another defensive player forward, then the rules should apply on the other side. That being said, I don't buy the injury argument, I just want the rule to apply equally on both sides of the ball.
