Why won't the giants be good this yr? Didn't Russell just lead the Steelers to the playoffs this yr? I could of sworn you were so big on black QBs doing well and the first thing you say the gmen aren't going to the playoffs.. they were 9th in sacks last yr and probably would had more if Dexter Lawrence didn't get injured the last several games. We just added a couple of defensive players on the off season to get better. We could draft Travis Hunter to add a wr next to naber and also play corner on defense. Tracy gonna touch the ball more instead of being the backup rb. We still got more money to sign other players and get other draft picks

Led his team to the playoffs his first yr and won a playoff game on the road with Daniel Jones at his QB. Got coach of the yr.. that's what they see in him

No the eagles were lucky to get Barkley. He literally saved that franchise. Without Barkley ya might not even got to the playoffs. Ya coach was on the hot seat. The yr b4 ya lost the first round , lost to the giants at the end of the season and ya had a losing record during a 7 game streak. People were literally calling for your coaches job and calling hurts overrated. Barkley literally came in and won close games for ya and took over games. He literally saved ya franchise. He doesnt join your coach is probably fired and hurts is receiving negative feedback. Hell there were individuals on bgol that didn't even think hurts deserve Superbowl MVP. They said ya defense deserved it

Russell isn't the same player he once was since his Seahawks days. The Steelers didn't want him no more. He stunk in the playoffs, like I said it's a temporary fix since he only got a 2 yr contract. Russell isn't in the Giants plans long term. Your coach even said they're looking forward to drafting a QB in next year's draft naming him Archie Manning.

Barkley wasn't winning shit with the giants, he couldn't even stay healthy with that team. Like I said he came to the right pace to a winning franchise, the eagles wasn't that far removed from their last Superbowl when they lost to KC and look at you talking about people saying hurts was overrated when under the same breath you said the media didn't know what they were talking about and didn't know the game. As far as the coach being on the hot seat, that was known and pretty much he changed and realize he had to let guys do their jobs and stop calling plays being a hot head, it worked out for him..The eagles also had the top defense as well. Barkley did his job along with hurts, AJ and Smitty as well. Without those 4 the eagles wouldn't had won it all.

I really don't care what people in BGOL think about hurts, I was defending hurts since the beginning of the season all the way until the eagles won it all. Also, I've said hurts dealt with different OC changes every year with no continuity which is why things didn't go as smoothy and going into next season he'll be under another OC again ..

Yeah I did say people called hurts overrated. I didn't say I thought he was. Yes I have said don't listen to the commentators but some of ya actually do and care what they say. Barkley didn't win anything with the giants cause he was injured half the time or his teammates. The yr they were actually healthy they went to the playoffs and actually won a game. See how that works. What happened the next season more injuries and missing the playoffs. So when you talk shit about daboll he had 1 yr with his team being healthy and that's when they won. So give him a healthy team and watch what he can do

Russel still took his team to the playoffs. Russel still had 2000+ yds 16 TD and didn't play a full season. He had a bad game in the playoffs. Some players have those games. Still a serviceable QB and still better than Daniel Jones which means they are doing better

What did the giants win that year under daboll when y'all had daniels as the QB, did that team win the superbowl? Someone on this thread even said the giants FO is a mess. But you hold onto moral victories like they mean something when they don't. Nobody cares what a team does in the playoffs whatever year they played unless they can win the superbowl is what matters the most. But then you trying to talk shit about the eagles when this franchise has been winning since hurts have been the QB along with 2 superbowl appearances which I haven't seen nothing close to that with the giants since y'all had eli manning back then which was many moons ago.
