I'd recommend creating an account on all exchanges that Americans can buy from including Gemini, Binance US (this depends on what state you're in), Kucoin, Bittrex, and Kraken.

Can’t believe I don’t see any XLM love in this thread. Big two past weeks for stellar.

It actually slipped under my radar (and out of the top 10) since everyone on social media has been focusing on ADA, XTZ, and LINK.

Any particular reason to have accts on that many exchanges? Do split up your funds evenly among them when funding the accts?

Some exchanges have coins that others don't. By having an account on all of them you ensure access to as many coins as possible.

If one goes down, whether for routine maintenance or because of a hack, you can still conduct trades on the other exchanges.

It gives you multiple ways to get cash in and out.

I don't split up funds but I make sure to store my holdings on a hardware wallet.

10 percent price jump in last 24 hours plus most social post mentions in nearly a year. wish i would have bought more at 6 cents

Take a look at OXT (orchid), rare to see a coin just just released and already listed on every american exchange, price is below what investors paid for it, and is still in early accumulation. Oh and not a 2017 project, so no bag holders from the prior market cycle to dump on you. This is more of an accumulation play than a short term trade.

It's all based on the coin you want to buy. Wherever it's sold get you an account.

In all honesty it depends on which coins you will be trading. As an American I own a lot of stratis and the only platform I can trade that on is Bittrex.

That may not be available to Americans. Bittrex doesn't appear to allow it for Americans, and the other exchanges have low volume.
I managed to snatch some from the main Binance before they cut American traders off. It might be available on Kyber Network's exchange

Ground floor...simple concept...still doing my homework:

A commission-free,
trustless futures exchange
for trading digital currency prices

You will need ETH (ethereum) to participate
Each Digitex Token (DGTX) will cost $0.01

This guy was onto something. You guys may want to take a look at this one (DTGX - Digitex Futures).

I jumped on this on Fri at .07 USD. Its currently at just under .11. Exchange is set to open on 7/31. It will likely tick up till the launch. Wished I jumped in when Me. Bee posted it and held.

I used the Lumi Bitcoin and Crypto wallet to buy DTGX using Ethereum.

Are you using a vpn? How are you able to send coins from your account
I do use a vpn now but it works without one as well. I buy my btc on coinbase and send it to Binance like always. Withdraw my coins to whatever wallet I want to use. Nothing has changed. I'm in a trading group and somebody mentioned it still worked. I logged in, no vpn at the time and it was business as usual. Your same login and pw still works. I have two accounts. This was 6 months ago. Binance ain't turning down all them trading fees. Just looking the other way. I wouldn't use a credit card or do any additional verification for higher limits.

Best Practice: Watch the video posted above about Uniswap and learn how to use the platform. No KYC, Non-custodial. Only downside is you're "limited" to Ether based tokens. But right now, that's where the action is. (BZX,

By the time a lot of the "hot" new coins get to any US based exchange a lot of the gains have already been made.

You can still get a Kucoin and HitBTC account with just an email account (no KYC) and still make withdrawals. Need these accounts to get access to "hot" projects not yet listed on US based exchanges (AMPL, CEL, CHSB, DGTX, LEND, LRC, REN)

Trade well my friend...

PS

You would be well served to get additional fiat on ramps because if Coinbase doesn't like how you manage your account the will disable fiat deposits and trading. CashApp is faster and cheaper. LibertyX will soon have CVS and Rite Aid on board for cash purchases, not sure of their rates right now. ClubSwan is good if you wish to set up a regular bitcoin buy every month and is non-custodial.

Peace

I would't send BTC to a legacy Binance account from Coinbase.

Coinbase sells "public" information to the Secret Service and the IRS. This could lead to the Binance account being identified as being "owned" by a "US Person" and therefore subject to restriction and or closure.

Better safe than sorry...

What's your largest withdrawal from binance? I could withdraw a 100 bitcoins before the U.S rules

Coinbase was ordered to report user's trading activity of 20k and over to the IRS back in 2017. I'm way under the radar with my few dollars. I don't leave crypto on the exchange I withdraw it as soon as I buy it. It wouldn't be a big deal if it was closed. Binance wants the trading activity so they ain't trippin.
