MATIC is one to hold on to as it's basically a pricing platform to keep exchanges low and affordable. Once it hits that $1 mark, it's gonna fly as it will be viable for ETH transactions for the next 2 to 3 years.

I'd recommend to create an account on all the major exchanges that are open to Americans to allow for the most options.
At a minimum, I'd say create a Kucoin account.
I also have a binance.us acct.
But my bank wont let me transfer to kucoin for some reason.
