Damn I knew it was coming but still it's shocking HBO is no longer in the boxing business. Man I grew up on that shit. I literally grew up on HBO boxing as a little boy and that's how I fell in love with the sport. But...... they've allowed Lampley to ruin their product when he should have been replaced years ago

Middleweight world titleholder Billy Joe Saunders has failed a Voluntary Anti-Doping Association drug test for the banned substance oxilofrine, a stimulant, multiple sources with knowledge of the test results told ESPN on Thursday. Saunders is preparing for an Oct. 20 defense against Demetrius Andrade in Boston but that is likely to be canceled and Saunders is likely to be stripped of his 160-pound world title.

Its a paper belt because the WBC put Thurman in champion emeritus due to him being fragile and injured and inactive. The WBA didn't strip him of his title. Thurman beat both of those cats, so the title they fought for is basically a paper belt. On top of that the WBC is giving Thurman first dibs to defend the " WBC super championship" when he returns.
Spence defended his mandatory that the IBF mandated. Plus Spence won that Belt from the actual beltholder in Kell Brook who beat Porter for the belt.
