I don't know when all this money talk became a thing.
It didn't use to be like that in boxing.
It was all behind closed doors.
Contracts and negotiations don't have anything to do with the fans anyways.
I honestly couldn't care less about what an athlete makes either.
We just want to see the best possible matchups.
He'll definitely climb the P4P rankings, but being number one is out of the question.
Even if Mikey pulls off the upset, he still wouldn't be ahead of Crawford, Usyk, Canelo, or Lomachenko.

Hmm, I see what is going on with the DAZN and other entities. They are trying to put the squeeze on Al Haymon. Thing is. From what I got from the boxers he looks out for their interest. One thing boxer got to have is trust. Boxing is a dangerous game and most fighters don't want to be the fighter walking around with slurred speech, and they want some of that money they earned when they get through throwing hands. Trust, Fidelity is most important in the field.
I respectfully disagree Boss....Garcia is already a top 10 pound for pound boxer right now and a win over Spence would be better than any win of the 4 you mentioned in terms of name and perceived danger to the fighter ...GGG is a bigger name than Spence but he wasn't the favorite over Canelo in the way that Spence is over Mikey....wont matter though, rooting for Errol

Lets remove Lomachenko based on the perceived danger factor.
Canelo's fights with GGG, Lara and Cotto were dangerous and he beat all three.
Usyk and Crawford cleaned out their divisions and became undisputed.
That alone would still keep them ahead of Mikey if he upsets Errol, IMO.
But, he isn't.
