Arthur don't want the real ass whipping from Yarde. Yarde shouldn't have lost the first fight. He wasn't stepping in and mixing it up. I know he would have knocked dude out if he would have mixed it up a bit. Wouldn't have taken much. I just didn't quite get that fight, but I thought Yarde did enough to pull off the victory.

thats cheap ass Arum tho, i mean Porter was getting more than $1 mil to fight Formella so theres no way Kenny would let him fight Crawford for something less than $4mil

Yo I’m happy for Porter for sticking with it man. Bob Arum tried to gyp that dude and sell him short. Saying he wasn’t worth more than $1M. Fuck that CAC

Wild prediction: Porter KO’s Crawford. If he stays tight and eats that body up, it’ll get Crawford out of there. He’s know for slow starts, so he will lose the first few rounds off inactivity trying to feel Porter out. Porters chin is real, and Crawford doesn’t hit harder than Spence, who is the only person almost sleep Porter. The only way Bud wins is points and that is if Porters foolishly chases him all night and gets pitty-patted to death and loses rounds. Bud is great inside but he can’t go toe-to-toe with Porter.

Wow that is a bold prediction. I'm putting money on the fight going the distance.
All the YouTube Bud fans think he's going to stop Porter. Aint nobody stopping Porter :tut: But if he does, that'll be very impressive

Nah! Bud hasn’t fought anyone close to Porters worst fight- which was Spence and Thurman. He fought too reckless in both. Bud can’t take that type of pressure let alone deal with any heat if Porter corners him and eats. He’s a stick and move fights like De La Hoya and others. He doesn’t have enough courage or power to trade with Porter. Porter in under 8 rounds.

Glad Crawford fighting someone from PBC....this is how you force a Spence fight...not by trying to shame the man while not fighting any killers at 147

Speaking of Spence, I am getting a funny vibe like there are lingering effects from the crash...if Bud beats Porter I will favor him over Spence as a result...Spence looked good against Garcia but retina issues with another long layoff....I am just getting a funny vibe

Plus you have 2 young killers in Ortiz and Ennis at 147 who are ready now...tough division to be in if you ain't 100%....Spence saying he will go up to 154 but he loses some of his physical advantages there

I think Joshua loses this fight...I have never wanted him to fight Usyk before Wilder or Fury....hopefully he proves me wrong but I think Usyk is too skilled for him and Joshua is not slick enough to catch him to take advantage of his superior physicality
Man I don't see how. Usyk almost got his head knocked off against a nigga named Weatherspoon and he looked like trash against Chisora. I can't see him beating anyone in the top 5 unless he runs the whole match. Joshua better not lose to this man.

And then there is that...Usyk hasn't looked like the old Usyk since he moved up in weight...I hope you are right

Listen, I want to thank the OP and all the contributors in this thread.

When I started middle school, I distinctly remember finding interest in three things: standup comedy, porn and boxing.

I had always watched boxing on ABC Sports on Saturdays, but they were fighters casual boxing fans knew.

Once I found USA’s Tuesday fights and ESPN’s Thursday night fights, I knew I had found my tribe. I was able to talk about fighters that I knew would contend for belts but were early in their career.

Junior Jones, Riddick Bowe and Michael Moorer come to mind.

So, I thought I was a boxing fan until I came into this thread, for I think my first time since I been a member 2 decades ago.

I’m not. Y’all know undercards. Y’all wager. Y’all follow internationally.

I felt there was no future in boxing, greatness wise, after Floyd retired.

However, perusing this thread from the first page over the past week and have come across fighters I liked.

Spence, Crawford, Stevenson, Broner (I know I’m late) and I found hope. Not PBF excitement, but it’s fun looking for the next “legend.”

Thanks guys.

I think Usyk can outbox AJ but it comes down to if his chin holds up against AJ's power. He did have some issues with Chisora and AJ is a bigger puncher than Chisora. I dont think Usyk will get a decision even if he outboxes AJ in London tho

I was running scenarios through my head and I think that's Usyk's only path to victory tbh. However, if I didn't watch that Ruiz rematch I would think it would be a high probability that would be the way the fight will go.

With that being said, AJ showed me he can outbox and stay out of reach of the shorter guy and he has the advantage on reach. Plus he has power. Sorry fellas I just don't see no way he can beat AJ. :smh:

i agree. that's the only thing i think will pontentially be a issue for uysk. chisora almost dropped him.

So AJ resigns with matchroom rather than trying to go out on his own like Floyd and more recently Canelo, i imagine this means AJ will probably continue doing business with matchroom after he retires with his mgmt company
