What has Haney done to deserve anybody to say this In not knocking your opinion I'm just asking
Huh? I don't understand your question. But let me elaborate on what I meant about him being tied up for a while if you ain't up to speed on what happened.

BACKGROUND:
Before the George Kambossos and Teofimo Lopez Jr. fight, Lopez been fucking Haney around about making that unification/undisputed fight, calling himself undisputed, Devin didn't deserve the fight, asking Eddie Hearn for $10M. That's one of the reasons he tried to leave Top Rank and that fight went to purse bid instead of being on ESPN because he won them belts from Lomachenko and got big headed. Anyway, during the buildup to that fight, Devin made inroads with Kambossos and they both agreed that if Kambossos won, he would fight Devin next. I'm not going to waste too many keystrokes about what it took to get here because after the fight Kambossos did the direct opposite of what he said he was going to do to make that fight. It literalaly took a fucking war to break out for Haney to get that fight....

TODAY:
What I meant about Haney being tied up for a while is he took a shit deal in order to make that fight in signing one of the most horrendous contracts in modern boxing.
1) Haney has to fight in Austrailia. If he wins, the rematch will have to be in Austrailia with an option for a third fight
2) Haney had to leave DAZN and sign with Bob Arum
3) He's making less money than he did for his previous fights
4) If he wins the next two fights, he's still stuck with Bob Arum.

So provided that he wins, next week, he is contractually tied up for at least another fight with Kambossos with an option to exercise for a third fight. And that's without the his obligations to Bob Arum which he'll probably try to feed Devin to Lomachenko or one of them up and commers in 135 Top Rank got over there who knows. But those are the facts, not my opinion.

Here's a good breakdown of that Kambossos fight deal. I forgot Team Kambossos told Devin he had 3 days to sign the contract :smh:

I really hope Tank don't fall into the trap of thinking he could win every fight like his cause i had him down on the cards but he was just getting into his flow most likely woulda won the rest of the rds but who knows

Just don't want him thinking that knockout punch will save him cause too many other fighters fell to that shit

They gave Devin a deal they never thought he would sign just so they could say "we offered Devin the fight and he didn't take it"

If he gets past Kambosos .
I am looking for the robbery with Kambosos. To be frank, Haney is the best of the 135 pounders. He just don't have that power. It will be hard for Haney to beat Tank, but he is a better boxer. Kambosos is solid enough for them boys to give him the fight. Haney got to knock his ass out, and I don't think Haney has the power to do so.

Damn bruh, Haney did all that for a fucking belt? I would never fuck with Bob Arum, never. Sometimes chasing your dream can have you strung out like a motherfucker. He have to fight dude again in Australia. This is a shitty deal. Haney better find the knockout God to help him dead this dude, because if he doesn't knock him out, it will be hard press for him to get a win on any of those fights. Australia be on that fuck shit.

Tank wasn't losing that fight. The rules are the most effective boxer. The one who is winning the fight rather he is boxing or brawling. Tank was giving dude a boxing lesson. Rolly won a round maybe two out of the 6 before the knockout. As you can see, Tank wasn't getting hit that much.

Thanks for the reply and I don't disagree with a thing you said. Nobody agrees with that POS deal but everybody respects him for wanting to be great. That's what Floyd did, he took the hard road but when he got on top, he told the rest of the boxing world to kiss his ass. So that's what Devin is doing and that's why I'm rooting hard for him to be victorious because like Floyd he's taking the shit deal because that is what he has to do to become great.

With that being said this gives me the opportunity to opine on this fight:
  1. Devin is a superior boxer. He can outbox Kambossos and stay out of the way the whole fight. That's what he's known for. It don't get you the KOs but it gets you the win. Fuck around and 10-2 his ass. People try to clown Devin because of his lack of KO power but he's hard to beat and that's cool by me.
  2. Before the Linares fight, Devin only lost 3 rounds his whole career. He is as discipline as they come and I trust him to stick behind that jab
  3. I hear you on that Australian robbery shit, but I went back and looked at that Pacquiao fight, two of the judges were from the USA :dunno: But like I said, I trust Devin to stay discipline and for it not to even appear close. Dewey Cooper agrees with me on this.
  4. Kambossos won split decisions with Micky Bey and Lee Selby. LMFAO!!! Devin gone make this shit look easy. Trust me
Haney and Kambossos both agreed on the judges so that makes me feel even more confident this fight will be on an even keel. Given those circumstances, Haney gonna stick to that jab and outbox him all night. He's learned his lesson from that Linares fight (trying to please the crowd and ended up getting caught). He knows the what's at stake.

They say one of the judges had Rolly up by the time of the KO

I am with Haney too, but I know how boxing is. Sometimes you have to knock a motherfucker out to take it out of the judges hands. Hell, they was trying to take if from Bivol when he fought Canelo. Bivol was beating Canelo's ass and they put it as a split. I hope all comes through on this fight. I will put my money on Haney for sure.

Honestly I felt kambosos is overrated, I felt in Lopez didn't lose his cool so quickly he would have haves him out there real quick. He was Lopez was the far superior boxer I feel Haney can knock dude out if he tries too.
