Broner lose another fight...Floyd won't even let him in the mansion.

Not even qualified to be a hanger-on...

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I noticed that he is keeping Spence real close to him too

but seriously I think we're about to see AB get a mayweather trainer

Roger would probably be the best fit

the kid shows flashes of brilliance(that left hook was a beauty that dropped porter) but his boxing iq is so low :smh:

I heard the comment too an was like :hmm: at first... then I thought about it another way... If he's saying that he's spending his own money (trainer and manager fees) to buy the house an let his son keep his paper then I can't say shit about that, no problem here :dunno:

I hope youre right man but AB wouldnt have said all of that shit without some merit behind it.

That is true about Broner's IQ,or lack of one....part of that has to fall on his game plan, and corner.

Kell Brook gave everybody the game plan on beating Porter.

I thought Broner was the perfect fighter to repeat it.

But no,all he wanted to do was hold and mug for the cameras:smh:

Real rap, Broner reminds me of a more arrogant version of David Reid. Talent, flashes but lacking that 'something' to put him over the top. His issue to me isn't trainers, it's mental, and unless he figures out a way to stop all that bullshit, he will in my opinion always come up short.

In a 12 round fight, flashes will only get him what he's gotten. I see the reason we only see flashes is because he's more focused on the bullshit than the actual work at hand.

That's why, after the press conference, I said I felt Porter would beat him, not because he's better because Porter while he has some skill, is more of a brute, but because, selling the fight is cool, but 24 hours before the fight is game time, and AB was still on the bullshit, and Porter wasn't...

yoooooooo we were saying the same shit last night

you control that aggresion with a jab and then a over the top right hand

thats all Brook did to Porter....AB did none of that shit

im like what the fuck did him and his trainer work on, especially when AB is much the smaller man

thats why most of us believe a mayweather is coming soon

he cant afford to lose anymore and that trainer of his is clueless

i doubt if the mofos even studied film :smh:

Floyd Mayweather Sr: Adrien Broner Looked Like a Bum

By Rick Reeno

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., was very disappointed with Adrien Broner's performance on Saturday night.

Broner was dominated over twelve rounds by Shawn Porter, who picked up a unanimous decision victory at the MGM Grand.

Mayweather Sr. had picked Broner to win the fight.

For Saturday's fight, Broner held his camp at the Mayweather Boxing Club. There were questions raised about Broner's dedication during training camp.

"I'll be honest with you, I voted for Broner. I was thinking Broner was going to win. You cant keep making excuses for people. You can't keep making excuses. if he knows that there is something that he didn't do right, he knows right from wrong. If he did it wrong and got his ass whopped, that's what is supposed to happen," Mayweather Sr. told BoxingScene.com.

"He's not no top ranked fighter, in the rankings. He held all night. Broner looked like nothing. All that grabbing and holding. With all that stuff he does...the women...the drinking...all that stuff. He's not going to do nothing. He looked like a bum. First, he needs to learn how to fight. If he wants to learn how to fight, he needs to come see me - or else forget it, done. My whole saying is, it's my way or the highway and no other way.

"All the things Broner was saying, none of it was true. Don't get me wrong, I see where he's got ability, but with all the sh*t with these girls and drinking, he's never going to get nowhere."

^^^ He ain't lying - especially with the drinking and the girls.

Broner needs to start disciplining himself if he wants to be a top contender again.

Kell Brook is a big welter plus he could match porters strength along to go with the better boxing skills and power. AB ass aint got the skills to hang with bigger dudes. at 130 an 135 he was overpowering cats, he had them titles in diff weights but he was a paper champ:lol:

Been saying that Broner is overrated. People get caught up in ability. The guy doesn't know how to box. It's easy when you're facing smaller opponents or doormats. At welter, there are too many guys that know how to actually box for this guy to flourish (as is).

Paulie gets at ESPN's Dan Rafael over Pacquiao "alleged" injury.

Paulie is really good for boxing. Maybe not as a fighter but he is in a league of his own as a commentator and analyst. Im glad he won that analyst award, it was well deserved.

Floyd Sr. should've done the same thing. Especially after all that noise Freddie the joke coach Roach was talking prefight.

nah...boxing has always had an etiquette. talk as much shit as you want too prefight but be respectful afterwards. fights dont sell themselves for the most part.

I don't know how anyone who watched the Maidana fight seen Broner winning this fight. The only chance he had was Porter being weak and drained. Broner has never shown that he possesses the discipline to box a guy for 12 rounds like he needed too. He tries to fights off ability alone...the problem is he doesn't have enough gifts to do that

There's Broner:smh:....and then there's Andre Ward.

Class gesture...

Super middleweight champion Andre Ward’s return to the ring after a self-inflicted 19-month layoff could not have gone better on Saturday night. Paul Smith’s night could not have gone worse both in the ring and financially.

Ward, fighting in his hometown of Oakland, California (and in his first bout since signing with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports), looked sharp, fast and powerful as he laid waste to England’s Smith, a former two-time super middleweight title challenger. Ward (28-0, 15 KOs) bloodied and beat on Smith (35-6, 20 KOs) until his corner threw in the towel during the ninth round.

Smith was due to earn $225,000, according to the California State Athletic Commission contract. However, because Smith was way over the 172-pound contract limit for the non-title fight -- he was 176.4 at Friday’s weigh-in -- he was fined 20 percent of his purse ($45,000), half of which went to Ward and half to the commission.

When the camps negotiated a Saturday morning weight check, they agreed that Smith would pay Ward an additional $5,000 per pound he was above 181 pounds. He was 184.4, costing him another $15,000, which meant the two fines had shrunk his purse to $165,000.

But Ward, who earned $2 million, showed the charitable kind of guy he is after the fight.

According to a source familiar with the transaction, Ward forgave the fines and gave all of the money he was due back to Smith -- $37,500. The commission kept its $22,500 share of Friday’s weigh-in fine. There are not many fighters who would do that.
