They need to fire those nurses
Yeah that part was funny.I appreciate the humor...
And I liked how he actually tried to warn two bit first...
That scene kinda reminded me of GoT when we were first introduced to tywin LannisterShe was not embalming a live body.
yeah what was up with thatShe was not embalming a live body.
yeah what was up with that
lady eve dose not have any powers so what was the meaning of that
Is it odd that I’m more invested in the family drama then the superhero part right now. I think right now my main issue is that I fucking hate the theme song and right now the fight scenes are not up to my normal standards.
Special effects very well done.
RawThey fucking this season or next season lol
I didint want to say anyhting
but yeah I hate it too
It reminds me of those horrible NBA ESPN commercials they got now with those 2 corn balls.
I am still loving this show for its unapologetic Blackness but it suffers from some of the same tropes of many other Berlanti shows - the lack of joy in the characters - Flash season 1 was joyful then they decided Barry and team Flash were having too much fun so they made it dark, they made Barry Emo.
I think that Black Lightning should be a lighter show even with gangster villains (i think that Jill Scott is more interesting than Kordon). I like that quick bit with his old classmate, the selfie drug dealer.
I was a comic book kid and to me comic books were an escape and Stan Lee knew how to make you feel thrilled and engaged and satisfied. I am not feeling that way with these TV shows.
I am going to give Black Lightning a chance but it reminds me of Season 1 of Luke Cage and that is not a compliment.

I like how the crippled boy was so easily corrupted...
It wasn't the money or gifts
It was his dismissive reaction to his girlfriend quitting track.
He instantly showed how the event cracked him.
He has no reason to be mad at BL,especially when BL was trying to save people at the protest.
dont let it be revealed that she an informant for the 100They fucking this season or next season lol
Of course...
but that was great writing and acting
his NON reaction and HER genuine shock and surprise by his dismissiveness?
shows a SHARP turn from the young athlete who was giving her a speech about the future after his workout in the school gym
that was the FIRST chink we saw in the armor
look how QUICK he could be turned to the dark side...
even though he KNOWS BL aint hurt him
Thing is, young boy mad at the world. He was positive, stayed on the right track, avoided the traps of being a teenager, avoided the allure of the 100. He did everything he was supposed to do and what happens he gets his fucking spine severed. His best way out of the shit and now he's stuck. Tobias is a smart man. As a former politician he knows how to use his words to sway people. An angry young black man who has had everything taken away from him only needs to be pointed in the direction of who to hate, and BL is the direction.
