I don't think Bayern had a shot on goal.

I'm thinking about takling the kids to an MLS match to see either the NYCFC or the Red Bulls?

Any thoughts suggestions?

If location/travel isn't an issue I'd say Red Bulls.

Good environment, an actual stadium meant for football, I enjoyed my time there....minus the jackass that drank too much and threw up near me :hmm:

Haven't seen NYCFC but I've been the Yankee Stadium for a non baseball game (college football) and my seat was pretty good but for me personally wasn't crazy about an arena not meant for the sport in head. And I can't speak for NYCFC but since the Red Bulls been around longer you know the fan base will be much stronger.

Just my two cents but either one should be a good time.

He should be able to thrive under Van Gaal without a doubt. His numbers at 21 years of age are on par with Hazard's.

Tread carefully..

Redbull Arena is a great venue overall. Probably one of the better ones i've seen in this country when it comes to football specific stadia...

... until we build our own in DC. :D:D

I think NYCFC are doing the whole Yankee stadium deal until they can find a home.

De Gea....MVP of the EPL. Said it before and will say again, without him United wouldn't even get a whiff of Euro football next year

And Valencia up 2 on madrid

Valencia's other hero, Alves, was also long at the club before Nuno or Lim arrived. The Brazilian added to his mythical penalty save status by out-thinking Ronaldo in what was probably the game's key moment. Alves has faced 41 spot kicks in Spanish football, made 19 saves and two have been missed. Which means only 20 -- less than half -- have beaten him.

Also, Pogba scored on his return today.

Didn't get to watch the game but I heard Neymar and Ter Stegen saved the day.

From what I read, both goals came from a Messi to Suarez to Neymar sequence.

Hmmm healthy dose of Catenaccio on the way? Yea more than likely.

Although Juventus showed they weren't pussies against Madrid, especially in the first leg. I can see Carlitos and Pogba causing all kinds of trouble. Morata would also have more incentive against Barca.

Easy to go at a limp Madrid in your own home which is warranted. Like today, they have trouble scoring from open play in Europe for whatever reason. I would've taken the gamble to have a go at Madrid again with their recent performances but i'm risky like that.

Without the ball, absolutely. With the ball, I dunno...

I thought Enchilada did a great job deploying Kroos today to snuff out Carlitos. He was more or less ineffective with the ball today, serving only to drag players out of position and holding up play. If that was the game plan, hmmm ok, but I can't see that working against the Blaugrana.

It was Pogba they didn't have much of an answer for, even though Carvajal did a decent enough job for 60 mins trying to contain him. That kid got his motor going after that goal pumped life into them. Kudos on the assist.

We'll see what Alves and Busquets have planned for the pair, assuming Pogba start on a wing again.

And Morata reminds me of Raul.... In the right place at the right time and finishes.
