Yeah I am but even tho I'd hoped the Devils made some noise, it's better if they make some small moves instead of overspending on shit we already have or over the hill players. We need a thumper of a centerback and a shifty, fast mid on the attacking right. Those we need bad.

I'm good with the current squad under Ole. Maybe another CB so we don't have to use Phil Jones so much, but outside that, I can live with it. They've got good chemistry.

You never know where a good coach will come from. Ole's tactics weren't too good against Burnley but he took a chance. To his credit he adjusted at the half. Who was Sir Alex before he was Sir Alex? A promising coach but nobody knew he'd become what he did. Same could be said of the majority of other coaches. We know Ole doesn't have all the pieces to be elite yet but why not give him a shot? If he has a good transfer strategy let him do his thing. Just keep fucking woodward out of it. Sign the checks and stfu.

I'm with this all the way.

I say let's see what Ole does with this squad who we know needs two CBs really, really bad. Or at least one tall, banger to pair with whoever else they put out there. Right now they've got no physical presence in the box. Burnley pushed them all over the place. Arsenal did too. We def need a thumper CB, hopefully, two but they're hard to find. And we need that fast, tricky mid on the right to take the pressure off Pogba.
We're gonna need some fullbacks soon too. Young is losing pace, Darmian is a mystery, Valencia and Rojo are always injured, etc, etc.

I'm with this all the way.

But I agree bro. Ole deserves at least as much time as Mou got. Give him a chance to sign some players he wants in his system. Players might just be ready to come now that Man U are playing like Man U again. That was probably the biggest problem with Mou, his system was so fucking boring nobody wanted to come play for him. Missed out on several players because of it.

Funny cause watching Burnley play, I kept thinking, "this is a Mourinho side all the way. Defend well, and nick goals on the break with no more than 2 attackers."

Sean Dyche better watch out. Mans coming for that job.

Here's how I see it... if Ole gets us past PSG and Liverpool, there's gonna be huge shouts for him to stay on and as well there should be. Is he a Pochettino or a Zidane? Not exactly, but a homegrown version of them, I'd be ok with.

Flipside to that... yo what is Sarri doing?! He ain't motivating shit. Them dudes look like they have no interest in football at the moment. Willian is def off to Paris by tonight.

Ole knows how to motivate and I also think there's a post-Mou effect present.

About Chelsea...we're too predictable and the stupid cac don't want to adjust and the players...honestly don't deserve their salaries! Heck even Eden missing clear chances. Teams that ManCity, Liverpool or ManU would demolish by 6 goals, we would struggle to score ONE goal against the same team! So frustrating!

I hear you. That Bournemouth affair was super telling. I didn't really know what I was watching at 2-nil. Usually Chelsea have that identity about them, but it's seem to left wanting as of late.

I could almost swear it was intentional sabotage! How could you be dominating yet fall 0-4? After the 3rd goal, I was done, couldn't even watch the other games.

Sarri won't make it back next season, that's for damn sure.

As a DC United supporter, I'm ok with this..

And don't bring up Acosta.. it's been a long 24 hours

*sigh*

That's my squad too! You in the DC/MD/VA area?

Losing Acosta was kind of a shock. PSG wants him to help ease the pain for Neymar being out but I was hoping they'd go after Willian.

Not to derail this great thread but been looking for this thread to vent about my fucking despicable Chelsea team!

@DJCandle when you guys get a new coach at the end of the season, we want your current acting coach!

Mannnnnnn....lemme tell you how mad I was after that damn match. We give up one goal, against the run of play, and then fcking collapse like mental midgets.

Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass. shot into the back of a defender/our own player.

Rinse - repeat

We're so much better when we actually concede possession to better teams. When we play a team that puts 10 behind the ball and has at least one counter threat we're cooked.

Now, had that Kovacic header gone in I'm sure Bournemouth would have folded but they spanked us 3-0 last year in the Bridge too.

Djaxie is back !!!!!
I thought That Juve was gonna put Some massieve pressure in the 2nd half. But iT looked like their confidence got weaker and weaker as Ajax got more chances.

I vow if I ever have a kid, we're moving to Amsterdam and he/she's going to that academy. Ajax churn's out players like it's nobodies business. And the highest quality to boot.

Juventus got smacked something else today

Ajax were far the fitter team
Let's see today I hope city wins. But spurs are cool too .

What's funny is you have a few players of Southampton who are competing.

Tadic, wanyama, mane, alderweireld, loveren and llalana probably forgetting a few

Southampton is Liverpool 2.0. They can build some players too. Bale and Shaw were graduated as well. Van Dijk still in the mix. Makes you wonder what they'd be looking like had they kept these players.

That's the biggest issue for small clubs.

I think FC Porto got a billion dollars of all the players they sold since mourinhio
