Did She-Hulk Secretly Tease Another Marvel Hero's Phase 4 Return?
BYKAI YOUNG
PUBLISHED 6 HOURS AGO

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law hinted at many unseen Marvel heroes existing in the MCU, with a small tease pointing to the return of another Netflix hero.

One tease during She-Hulk: Attorney at Law might point to the return of yet another hero from Marvel Television's Netflix series. She-Hulk featured many cameos and hints of upcoming MCU characters, perhaps best shown with Pug's wall of superhero-branded sneakers and the appearance of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil, reprising his role from Daredevil. Along with Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio reprised his role of Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin during Hawkeye, and now, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it tease during She-Hulk episode 7, "The Retreat," could suggest that yet another Netflix hero is making their way to the MCU.

Easter Eggs You Missed In The She-Hulk Trailer

Before She-Hulk premiered, there had been rumors about a possible cameo from Netflix hero Jessica Jones, with She-Hulk director Kat Coiro even mentioning that the character "would be a good addition." Even though Jones didn't end up appearing during She-Hulk, a connection was teased between her and Jennifer Walters in one moment that gives viewers a glimpse of the latter's phone contacts. The contacts are sorted in alphabetical order by last name, but one contact, simply named "Jessica," sits in the space where Jones would fall in the alphabetized list. This could suggest that Jessica Jones might make her MCU debut very soon.

How Do She-Hulk And Jessica Jones Know Each Other?
Kristen Ritter portrayed Jessica Jones in Marvel Television's Jessica Jones, but when this series was canceled, Ritter's future as the character was thrown into jeopardy. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law seemed like the best place to introduce Jones into the MCU proper, as despite Jessica Jones and She-Hulk's very different tones, both characters share a desire to help people through the means of the law. Matt Murdock and Jessica Jones already have an established relationship thanks to the Netflix shows, and since Daredevil appeared during She-Hulk, it's possible that Jones and Walters could be connected too.

Jen Walters' career as a superhuman lawyer means she regularly comes in contact with other super-powered individuals, including the likes of Abomination, Titania, and Daredevil during She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Her profession also means that Jessica Jones would be a likely contact. In Jessica Jones, Jones is introduced as a private detective who has regular dealings with lawyers, most prominently Jeri Hogarth at the Hogarth, Chao & Benowitz law firm, so it stands to reason that Jones could also have dealings with Jen Walters for any cases taking place on the West Coast.

Where Could Jessica Jones Debut In The MCU?
She-Hulk was the perfect place for Jessica Jones to debut in the MCU thanks to the law enforcement connection between Jones and Walters, but this didn't come to fruition. However, there is speculation that Matt Murdock's role in Echo will see the horned hero searching for a missing Jessica Jones, so that could create an opportunity for Jones to appear. If not then, it's likely that the character will debut during Daredevil: Born Again, especially with 18 episodes to fill, each of Netflix's canceled Marvel shows could be revisited, bringing those characters into the MCU canon.

Though there hasn't been any official confirmation of Jessica Jones' appearance in the MCU, the fact that both Cox and D'Onofrio have crossed over suggests that more characters could too. The tease in She-Hulk could reassure audiences that Jones will be debuting in the MCU very soon, whether that be in Echo as rumors suggest, or alongside her old Defender pal Daredevil in Born Again. Marvel viewers are still waiting for several She-Hulk: Attorney at Law teases to get a pay-off, but with Phase 4 wrapped up, many old characters could be returning during the MCU's Multiverse Saga.

There is unconfirmed information going around that the new Daredevil series will cameo Jessica Jones and Luke Cage (original actors) into the MCU.

It’s also looking like Iron Fist will cameo in the next “Shang-Chi” film with a new actor in the role.

No word on when Jon Bernthal returning, but Disney still has him cast in the role.

No word if they plan on bringing back all the supporting characters (actors) from the Netflix series into their original roles.

We will wait and see…

Jessica Jones and Luke Cage Stars Again Tease MCU Return With New Images

Krysten Ritter has been at it again…sharing images of herself with Marvel co-star Mike Colter and teasing a possible MCU return.

ANTHONY LUND
February 21, 2023

For what is the latest in a long line of teases, Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter and Luke Cage’s Mike Colter have shared a few pictures of themselves together, once again suggesting their possible return to the Marvel world in the near future. While both stars have reacted positively to the idea of being able to reprise their roles again in the MCU, neither have confirmed that there is actually a plan to bring any of the former characters who appeared alongside Daredevil in Netflix’s Defenders Saga back into the fold. In fact, Colter if anything has suggested that he would support the recasting of Luke Cage.

However, the latest photos shared by Ritter show her and Colter together, with Ritter adding the caption to one photo that reads, “Hey hey Power Man.” For those who know their Luke Cage they will be aware that this is the title of one of the Cages comic book outings, and that has led many to believe once again that the pair will be reprising their roles in the Marvel story soon.

While is still a long way from confirming the pair’s involvement in a new Marvel project, it is just the latest in a number of similar photos that Ritter has shared, constant sparking rumors of her Jessica Jones return. Although it could be possible that bother Ritter and Colter could featuring in Daredevil: Born Again in some way, there has currently been no word from Marvel Studios that it will be happening.

Will All of Netflix’s Marvel Characters Join the MCU?

When Charlie Cox made his MCU debut as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and subsequently turned up as Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, it immediately opened up the possibility of other characters from the Netflix shows turnIng up in the franchise at some point. Of the other members of the Defenders Saga, Jessica Jones was one of the most popular and fans of the super-strong investigator still hope that she will return at some point.

As well as Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, other former Netflix Marvel characters could possibly join the MCU at some time are Iron Fist and The Punisher, as well as secondary characters like Elektra and Colleen Wing. One character who has already made their presence felt in the MCU’s Hawkeye series is Vincent D’Onofrio, who reprised his role as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin in the show and will join Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock in the upcoming Echo series as well as in Daredevil: Born Again.

Currently, the MCU is focused on the Multiverse Saga, and where exactly these characters could fit into that is unclear. However, Daredevil: Born Again will be a mammoth 18 episode series, which means it will not only be the longest MCU series to date, but also has plenty of scope to welcome back some old friends. With the series not having started filming yet, there is plenty of time for Ritter and Colter to continue teasing fans before we find out for certain whether the pair have a future in the Marvel franchise.

Not on Disney plus, I think the Daredevil guy said his show wont be as bloody and gory Netflix one.
I heard they were considering changing their policy on adult content, i.e. Blade and Deadpool, but I don't know if they will extend it towards Disney plus, but at the end of the day the almighty dollar is king and if they start feeling it in the pockets then you'd be surprised how open-minded to change white folk can get.

Disney put all the Netflix series on Disney+ unedited.

They created a option for parents to put a password on the site to keep kids from viewing certain content.

As we all know, that ain’t gonna keep these little snots from accessing it.

So we will have to wait and see what Disney does.

Disney plans on bringing back Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. And Wolverine will makes his debut soon. Disney can’t go “Rated G” with those characters.

Yeah but it's still Disney, I think it will go the Falcon Winter sodlier path. Which had a serious tone, a lot of action and killing but it never got bloody.

They are filming 18 episodes of Daredevil.

The plan is too split in in two parts.

Good chance Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will cameo in those episodes.

Iron Fist is supposed to debut in the next Shang-Chi film.

I’m hoping they bring back all the original supporting cast members.

Well, she was certainly one of the better actors. And since she wasn't supposed to be a fighter her fight scenes didn't look terrible as opposed to Colter who looked stiff enough to dive off. And the Iron Fist guy who was...dreadful.

Jessica Jones Comic Co-Creator’s Take On Why The Netflix Show Worked So Well Makes Me Want Krysten Ritter In The MCU Even More

Bring back Jessica Jones!

By Dirk Libbey
January 21, 2025

..The filmmakers were able to get across the trauma of her life in ways that were very healing to people who experienced something like it. The reaction was overwhelming and came back to us from every direction. When you achieve something like that, you want to chase it, because it’s a great feeling. And so when I’m in situations where people are developing or adapting things, I can feel them asking the right or wrong questions, and I will gently guide them where I can. I’m not saying the comic book people know all the answers, but there’s a lesson in our experience that people might want to keep an eye on...
