And the Soprano analogy is so offwack i dont know what to say. I mean, here we have a show whose entire premise -from day one- is one of mystery, intrique, questions, teasers, impossibilities, conundrums... a show in which it is imperative that one be painstakingly attentive to detail in order to stay on track by the episode...And we have a final season which promises answers FINALLY, yet only delivers on mindfucks, pumpfakes, and useless fluff and seemingly pointless or (poorly written) storylines, for all but 2episodes of a craptacular swan song season.
Man passing this shit off as brilliant writing is spin at its best (or worse). This shit has been flat out atrociously presented to the loyal fan.
