Anyone else find it downright laughable how they got rid of Ilana so easily? Two seasons of buildup, and her character leaves without any type of backstory... They could have at least used the time they wasted on Kate early in the season, and just killed her off. :smh:

Where was Ben this episode? I don't remember seeing him.

he's with richard. richard didnt follow hurley and jack.

it was a good episode. didnt like the part with flocke and jack. OK, flocke confesses to being christian, i dont care what else happens, the next question out of jacks mouth should have been "where's his body?" No one is approaching locke and asking him anything.

I think everyone has already come to their own conclusions about flocke. I was getting hyped when flocke broke the radio and said "Here we Go". But it dont look like any action gonna happen til next ep. And since Syid didnt kill desmond what is he gonna do now? And clair said to jack, you let him talk to you, your with him now. Then sawyer throws him off the boat, and the next person he sees is flocke.

You're sick in the head. That episode was Top 3 this season! And Ilana is back too.

top 3 come on player I wouldn't say that, the only good thing about this one was as you stated Ilana is bake with her fine ass, and we see Desmond trying to put people together, other then that!! :smh::smh::smh:

He did, I try to watch each epi twice, but I haven't yet with this one, but when did he do that?
for some reason, I though that it was cool that Flock saved Jack and was like Bitch ass motherfucker I told you I got your motherfucking back nigga, see I'm saving your ass where is that punk ass Jacob at? Plus it was ironic, because in the flash sideways Jack was saving him, and of course you know Jack is going to be able to reverse stuff so Lock will be able to walk, so in that reality they will be good friends, and in the island there going to be the new Jacob and MIB... How ironic

interesting note

Another thing that doesn't add up. Claire was clearly identifying Flocke (her "friend") and her father as two different people when we first saw her again (with Jin). She said "Well, first my father told me and then my firend told me." Yet now, she's talking to Jack about how Flocke "pretended to be our father??" WTH? When did she figure this out? No explanation.

Claire told that to jack but she didnt tell that to flocke. She told jack she realized that flocke pretended to be her father, but she also said he was the only one who was taking care of her when they left.

but she told jin that both her father and her friend told her that the others had her baby.

The episode last night was good. I have a couple of theories about how the show is going to end, but I think that they are going to kill off the pilot Frank in the last episode.

the only reason they are keeping him alive this long, is to make us think he will fly the plain. he has one line every episode.

of all the things to find rationality in on the show, you try to find it in the most insane person on the show

ok, so explain this.

flocke/mib cant leave the island.
how did he appear on the freighter as christian
how did he appear in jacks waiting area in the hospital as christian.

The freighter was just off the island, just like hydra island. he can move to both islands without a problem. The lobby one is a good question. Maybe he keeps saying he cant leave theoretically. cause he keeps saying we have to leave together like its some kind of loop whole.

Get your head out your ass, and enjoy these episodes. Only four left. Stop waiting for answers that arent coming and enjoy this shit for what it is... This was a great episode. I cant think of many this season to put over it other than Richard and Desmond's centrics.

How I see it is they don't want to close the book. If they answer everything, there is no reason to even talk about the show. They'll probably leave it for you to draw your own conclusions which I'll understand. People will still be buzzing about this show after its gone for that reason.

So long story short. I don't rate episodes on the "I NEED ANSWERS!!!" scale.

I find series that leave you wondering what happened rather boring, like the sopranos ending for example, it seems rather lazy and while it may had created discussions at the water fountain it certainly didn't encourage me to buy the dvd box set.

To each his own. In my opinion holding your fucking hand is boring. The problem with our generation is we've lost our imaginations, and are dependent on "answers".

The ending of Sopranos was brilliant. It got people talking. It got people to insert there own ending, using imagination. Everyone has a different theory how Sopranos ended. That final episode didn't make Sopranos any less of a great show, it made it better.

They could announce tomorrow that yesterdays episode was the final episode, and I would be satisfied with the series.

yep unlike him we who are today's generation lack imaginations and require answers
And the Soprano analogy is so offwack i dont know what to say. I mean, here we have a show whose entire premise -from day one- is one of mystery, intrique, questions, teasers, impossibilities, conundrums... a show in which it is imperative that one be painstakingly attentive to detail in order to stay on track by the episode...And we have a final season which promises answers FINALLY, yet only delivers on mindfucks, pumpfakes, and useless fluff and seemingly pointless or (poorly written) storylines, for all but 2episodes of a craptacular swan song season.

Man passing this shit off as brilliant writing is spin at its best (or worse). This shit has been flat out atrociously presented to the loyal fan.

I never said it was brilliant writing. There has been a fair amount of cheese. Its been so cheesy in delivering anything thought provoking, I rather they don't try. I hope this shit just ends like the Sopranos.

its not holding your hand. so if they never say who adam and eve are, you would be fine with that? if they never say how jacob and mib are involved or where they came from, you would be fine with that? Thats ridiculous. Why pose questions that they cant answer. When you create a book, you start with the beginning and the end. everything in the middle is supposed to connect it all. Im not saying this season was horrible, but some of the answers they gave were kind of blah. a boat made out of wood destroying a statue, and the front of the boat is still in tact? come on.

Episode Across The Sea should explain alot and answer a lot of questions.

interesting

(Sun gets shot the next day after landing, and Locke gets run down after week at least, and yet they arrive to the hospital together).

We dont know those alternate timelines. They dont provide timestamps during those alterate jumps. Shit could be all at or near the same time for all we know. We're left to guess like everything else.

nah, this is an error. sun and jin arrived at the hotel, keamy knocks on their door. they take sun to the bank and take jin to the restaurant. all in the same day. this all happened directly after the flight.

on the other hand, locke came home, got fired, found another job, all in the course of a few days. no way they end up at the hospital at the same time. even ben mentions to desmond that he saw him sitting in front of the school for a few days.

So who shot Sun again?
