I love AOS but this year seems to be set in a world without the Avengers, Tony Stark, and other heroes. What happens to them? Thor, Hulk, Vision, Black Panther?

I feel perfectly comfortable with a regular season where AOS is doing there thing and MCU is doing its thing but if its all connected then there should be some talk of the heroes other than Daisy.

Just a thought

The reason why they have them in the future and in outer space is because once Infinity Wars happens, it will be hard for all of the shows (even Netflix Marvel shows) that are somewhat in the same universe to deal with the attack by Thanos and his henceman and why they aren't apart of it. So by having them not in the same time frame, they don't really have to address it.

AOS did a great job dealing with the Winter Soldier Hydra invasion and even mentions the Civil War. Thanos coming to complete the gauntlet however would be very hard for them to address how they aren't helping the Avengers.

Came in to say the same thing... typically the show goes on a hiatus around the time a marvel movie drops and then they come back dropping hints of what happened.

And Gemma gave him a LOOK

but he did apologize to Mack for doing something so graphic in FRONT of flint

foreshadowing?
We'll see

My Best friend and I were having a geek session over the latest AoS and we started coming to some interesting conclusions.

Kaisius talks about his father wanted to take earth he saw it as a blue GEM!!!

Who is Kaisius father and gat damn could his father have been thanos?!?

Of course if you think that is too far fetch I give you exhibit A from GoTG 2

And B

Infinity-5-Spoilers-Thane-Son-of-Thanos-Thanos-art-3.jpg

We have seen in MOVIES COMICS and possible now on AO fucking SHIELD how thanos pits his 'children' against one another.

we saw with Kaisius and his rivalry with his brother was along the same lines of the pitched rivalry between gamora and her sister.

A poster earlier made the comment how it is brilliant that they set this season of AoS in the future so therefore the events of Infinity war would not mess with their timeline, but what if it is BECAUSE of infinity war that they are in the future.

Obviously some great catastrophe happened on earth and as kaisius revealed his father wanted earth 'lusted after it.' Kaisius said how with the agents of shield in the future his father would encounter no resistance If his father was thanos it would really make sense.

also while kaisius only has a fraction of the events the whole picture could be what moves daisy to take the action she does.

Just some geek speculation on our part thought I would share, we'll see how it plays out 4 weeks from now.

looks like i was wrong with my Trent predication
but AOS has really hit on something. Netflix and premium cable only do 8-13 episodes to a season. Networks do 20+
i think AOS has found a great way of having shorter story arcs that tie into the overall season...its like watching a fucking comic

i give this show a lot credit cause other than Spartcus that grew in one season over time, i have never seen a show get better and better to this extent

Have you ever gone back to watch the first half of Season 1....

There is no way that we are supposed to be at this point from where this thing began.

Like i still remember when I almost gave up on this show before the HYDRA REVEAL. My love of all things Joss Whedon was the only reason I fought through the rough patch.

Still need that Disney network to hurry up.. so they can move this show exclusively there. Maybe with the Disney fox Hulu deal.. Disney can move Agent of shield there.

I thought the point of putting AoS on Fridays so they can play the episodes straight through.... It seems to me ABC wants to get rid of the show that badly......

How Jessica Jones Season 2 Could Connect Netflix Marvel To Agents of SHIELD
Phil-Coulson-from-Agents-of-SHIELD-and-Jessica-Jones.jpg

Jessica Jones could provide the biggest connection between the Marvel Netflix shows and the rest of the company’s TV, specifically Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Marvel Netflix shows have always existed in a little pocket adjunct from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s TV division, with connections relegated to small references: Crusher Creel, who fought Daredevil’s father in the boxing ring, was an antagonist on S.H.I.E.L.D.; the ABC show had a momentary glimpse of “Hell’s Kitchen” on a news tickertape; or, most notably, the Judas weapon was used against both Luke Cageand Jeffrey Mace.

That could all change soon if the first trailer for Jessica Jones Season 2 is anything to go by; it promises the most explicit connection to date.

RELATED: WHY AVENGERS TOWER DOESN’T APPEAR IN MARVEL’S TV SHOWS

JESSICA JONES’ EXACT ORIGINS ARE A MYSTERY

Jessica-Jones-investigates.jpg

Jessica Jones Season 1 introduced viewers to a mysterious company known as “IGH.” This company specialized in the creation of combat performance drugs, and ran a paramilitary task-force who they granted superhuman strength and endurance with addictive drugs. Trish Walker looked into IGH, and found that the company doesn’t officially exist. Even the company’s name “is an acronym for nothing,” she told Jessica. Intriguingly, towards the end of the season Jessica learned that IGH had paid her medical bills after the car accident that granted her super-powers.

The name “IGH” may have a deeper meaning, though. The X-Men comics feature an addictive drug known as “MGH.” Here, the acronym stands for “Mutant Growth Hormone,” and a dose can grant non-mutants temporary super-powers. Marvel’s television shows have often used Inhumans as substitutes for the X-Men, meaning “IGH” could actually be an acronym for “Inhuman Growth Hormone.” Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 clearly established that it was possible to steal the powers of certain Inhumans using experimental procedures; Doctor Whitehall’s experiments on Jaiying had prevented his aging. It’s possible that, decades ago, this mysterious research company discovered an Inhuman, providing a more pseudo-scientific explanation for Jessica’s powers; she was accidentally exposed to an overdose of these combat enhancers and forever transformed.

HOW JESSICA JONES SEASON 2 COULD CONNECT TO AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Coulson-Future.jpg

The trailer for Jessica Jones Season 2 has presented another intriguing hint. It seems that, in the aftermath of the car crash, Jessica was experimented upon for months. Crucially, she actually died – but was brought back from the dead. It’s doubtful IGH employed Hand mystics (although it’s possible given that group’s confusing past); instead, it seems far more likely this was achieved with their own technology. And that’s something we’ve seen before elsewhere on Marvel TV.

In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 1, it was eventually revealed that Coulson was brought back to life after undergoing a horrific experimental process. At the heart of this process was a dose of GH-325, a drug linked to Kree blood. More recently, Season 5 revealed that the Kree have been using the same process to resurrect humans and Inhumans alike. In both cases, the processes operate in a similar manner to Jessica’s death and resurrection. Given the potential Inhumans link and all round lining up of the technology, it’s possible what brought Coulson and Jessica back to life is linked.

It’s worth noting that this is only a theory, but it fits the (few) facts we know to date. Of course, if this is correct, Jessica Jones Season 2 is unlikely to address it too visibly. Previous links between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Netflix shows have been subtle, visible only to the most alert of fans. The same is likely to be true for this plot-point, which could easily add another subtle connection between the different Marvel shows.

Being the Netflix shows and Agents of SHIELD are not going to connect to the MCU Infinity Stone storyline...linking them together seems like a good idea.

Oh my fucking gawd...

Omg..... what the shit... OmG

but YO-YO had her arms in the version of the future where it was just her, May, and the pyshic kid... So what does this mean

Fucking Agents of Shield... you can never say that this show doesn’t know how to bring it’s A game.

Like I said about Voltron... When it’s all said and done.. This show will go down as the greatest Super Hero show in Television History. Honestly can’t think of anything close.

Isnt Avengers Infinity War supposed to act as a kind of reset button? :dunno:

Man this damn show is fucking rediculous...

Making each season three miniseasons is the best idea that I’ve ever seen..

But gawd damn ...4weeks ughhh

Showrunners are now saying that the season finale will also serve as a series finale,if ABC doesnt renew it..maybe AoS will then move to either Netflix or the Disney streaming service(since they have quite a few Marvel shows planned for it,including The New Warriors)

Let me add some fap to this... cause I didn’t post these in the original fappening

I love everyone of those shows... Have all the Seasons Saved on my Plex.... It's well known that I fucking hated all the episodes of this show prior to Civil War and YEP I stand by my statement.

When this show is Over it will be greatest of them all.... Hence the "When it is all Said and done" point.

That is the rumor we have been getting for a the last couple of weeks. Depending on the events of Infinity Wars and what happens when Thanos assembles all of the stones together... we won't really know what resets happen until the sequel one year later. I am not sure how the TV and Netflix shows will deal while we wait for Avengers 4.
