I watched when the show was first released and about 6 episodes in I deleted the recording from the DVR. People at work kept talking about how it got better and I still said no way I'm done. But I started back in the middle of season 2 then went back to dread thru season 1 and yes it is a good show after it picks up.
I did the same thing!

I quit about Ep 5 or 6 in season 1 and came back towards the end of season 1.

There were a few things that that popped up in season 3 or 4 that were tied to the episodes I missed.

Funny thing I tried to get thru season 1 a couple of years ago and stopped around the same point again.

mind blown!!!!!!

i think the only reason ppl pass up on this show is due to the movie characters not being in it. I pity and feel sorry for those ppl, because this is great tv.

I told some folks on FB that AOS is better than all of the other Marvel TV shows..combined and it was a fight...

A few season finales have been better than some of the MCU movies

I just realized that the MCU Coulson is now the 616 version of Dum Dum Dugan... Fury's right hand man...

Dugan died in the 60's but was replaced as a LMD and Nick Fury was the only one to know... Eventually the higher ups at Shield knew...

It's a cool way to bring him back to the films and use the comics history...

Many fans were shocked to learn about Agents of SHIELD's Season 7 finale being the end of the series, but executive producer Jeph Loeb explained to ComicBook why it was time to end.

"So we were about halfway through the season and they [the network] called again and said, 'this is great, do you have a great idea for season seven?' And we were like...nope," Loeb told us at San Diego Comic-Con. "And at this time we all got together and said 'look if we're going to do this, let's make this the last hurrah. Let's go out with a parade. Let's end the story so that we can do it on our terms because the problem is that it's never the studio's decision. It's always the network's decision and so we said let's take the risk. Let's go back to them and say we'll do it as long as we can end the show."

Im glad Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is allowed to go out on its own, even though ABC been trying to get rid of it for years..
:smh::smh::smh:

This and iZombie will be considered underappreciated shows years later.

Finished up S06, and this is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. The marketing for this show was terrible, as I never caught wind till a few months ago, off BGOL. This show should have been prime time media push, commercials, merch, etc. Some of these episodes could have been damn movies. Week after week, just phenomenal.

hopefully season 7 fills in some of the gaps from SSR in carter's time to when SHIELD was founded
that would close the door on this series similar to endgame closing the mcu infinity saga

The Mandalorian is adding another castmember with a Disney past.

Ming-Na Wen has joined the eagerly anticipated Star Wars live-action series.

Disney CEO Bob Iger let slip the casting during remarks at the D23 Expo in Anaheim on Friday.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress was honored as a Disney Legend at the Expo for her voicing the lead in Mulan.

“I was so excited when [Disney chairman Bob Iger] announced it, because I’ve been waiting to talk about it,” Wen said to Syfy Wire. “You don’t understand — that is a Star Wars geek girl’s dream come true.”

No details have yet been revealed about Wen’s role. “I certainly don’t play a farmer!” she added.

The news comes as Disney+ prepares to reveal The Mandalorian trailer later this afternoon.

The drama series from Jon Favreau (The Lion King) stars Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) as a lone gunfighter in the Outer Rim and takes place three years after the events in Return of the Jedi (so after the fall of the Galactic Empire, but before the rise of the First Order).

Also starring the series is Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Gina Carano (Deadpool), Nick Nolte (Cape Fear), Carl Weathers (Rocky) and Emily Swallow (The Mentalist).

The Mandalorian premieres Nov. 12.
