Wouldn't they drop to at least 5th place if the Magic overtake them in the division? Division leaders get those top 4 spots right?
There are 3 divisions...they would drop to probably a 4th seed.

dude went from killing the knicks!!!
to calling the knick win a "moral victory"
That moral victory sent the heat to 3rd place in the conference and 2.5 games out of 4th place

I think its pretty much common knowledge to know the Miami Heat need all 3 stars healthy to consistently win.... If Bosh was there, it would have been a different game.
But my critique on last nights game without the Bosh injury excuse.... I personally feel Chalmers, Arroyo, Jones, House and Miller needs to shoot 500 Three-Pointers a day. These niggas HAVE TO hit open 3s. That is the key thing when the defense starts closing in when Wade or Lebron drives in. The reason why Wade or Lebron don't be dishing the ball enough to the outside shooters because they don't trust these guys to hit it. Its that simple. Yes, Lebron had a bad night... but in the beginning of the 4th, the WHOLE team was cold. From my memory, Lebron finally got in rhythm in the last 2 minutes of the game. He should have take the last shot... or Wade atleast. Can anyone name one time Chalmers or Arroyo has made a clutch 3 this season????..........
.... I'll wait....
.... yeah, exactly.
But whatevers. Its one game. So the record is 2-1 for Heat/Knicks. I hope they meet in the playoffs cuz there is no way in hell the Knicks will beat the Heat in a 7 games series.
Also, Miami will lose to the Magic this Thursday if Bosh doesn't play. I'm calling it. No need for dissapointment.
Look at these giddy faggot bostink figazy fans lets break it down cause obviously you niggas dont get it if you think ur dominating the east
The eastern conference is a 4 way race. The top 3 teams are only 4 games or less out of first place..
In tye west SA has a 7 game lead over the second place lakers...
Boston at one point had damn near an 8 game lead over the second place bulls at the beginning of the season.. Boston went from beast to biscuts.. Boston will get touched in the playoffs by whom take ur pic, mia, orlando or chi town.

Obviously we are the best when we are 100% we going through our stibk of injuries just like boston. But I see u already making the excuse on bostons west coast swing if yall dont have a winning record coming out of it with bostons lingering injuries
Its cool I would rather all teams be 100%. Going into the playoffs
Remember when the Pistons where champs...damn Joe Dumars fucked up
Just remember the pistons are "the best team on paper".
So If they beat the heat, don't be surprised!!!
that is very true, u imagine just one player could probably set them up to get the fire in there bellys and become a good team
Yeah!!!
That's why I want the celtics to get Rip!!!!
that would complete the team!!!!
Yeah!!!

who they in talks to trade for him?
Aren't they talking about trading Wafer and Nate for Rip....hmm
Wafer is showing flashes and nate is at least a reliable back up to rondo and provides instant offense at the cost of defense...not sure about that one
That would leave Rip and West to head up the 2nd team back court....hmmm
Im on the fence...
all teams have injuries!!!
The only problem is that celtics fans don't use it as an excuse, every time they lose( like some teams).
you have 2 out of the 3 best players in the NBA. and you still can't win without Bosh!!!!
The celtics have a hodge podge of old out dates player, that should not be in the heats league on paper!!!!
but that's why they play the games!!!!!
DeLonte at the point, and rip at the 2 or 3 to give Pierce and Allen a break!!! fuck yeah!!!!

Report: Richard Hamilton on Celtics Radar As Trade Deadline Approaches
http://www.nesn.com/2011/01/report-...ltics-radar-as-trade-deadline-approaches.html
Danny Ainge and the Celtics are keeping a close watch on the market for available players as the trade deadline approaches.
Among those players is Pistons shooting guard Richard Hamilton, according to the Boston Globe.
Detroit’s guard is drawing interest from the guys in green, but the Pistons would have to work out a buyout of his remaining $30 million contract. Although the price to let the UConn alum go is steep, it appears his relationship with Pistons head coach John Kuester is beyond repair.
Hamilton, who has recently been benched, was rumored to be on the move in the rumored deal that would have sent Carmelo Anthony to the New Jersey Nets. However, that deal was shot down when Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov didn’t like the way talks were progressing. Hamilton is now in the unfamiliar role of riding the bench and he no longer seems to fit into the team's long-term plans.
With Delonte West’s return date still uncertain, the Celtics appear to be willing to make a move. Boston was linked to 3-point specialist Peja Stojakovic before he went to Dallas, a team that desperately needed a guard after Caron Butler went down for the remainder of the season.
Hamilton could create a formidable second unit for the Celtics, who could have Shaquille O'Neal, Jermaine O'Neal, Nate Robinson, Marquis Daniels, Glen Davis and Hamilton off the bench.
Dude stop it, having 3 allstars aint gonna cut it. Tust me if boston didnt have rondo u arent winning with nate and nate is a good player. We are obviouly lacking in the pg department. That is no secret
But ur right det is the best team on paper after all they beat the celtics
Jan 19,2011 11:22 pm Celtics beat Pistons 86-82 for 4th straight win
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2011011902
BOSTON (AP)—For Kevin Garnett(notes), returning from an injury is all about getting back the rhythm he has developed with his Boston teammates.
“It’s like being at a party, and the record skips, and you’ve got to get back on beat,” he said after helping the Celtics erase an eight-point, fourth-quarter deficit and beat the Detroit Pistons 86-82 on Wednesday night. “So, you know, the record skipped a bit. But I’m at the party; I’ve just got to find that groove again.
“For y’all who can’t dance, don’t take it personally.”
Paul Pierce(notes) scored 22 points and Ray Allen(notes) hit a jumper with 25 seconds left to give the Celtics their first lead of the second half. Shaquille O’Neal(notes) had 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Garnett added 11 points and six boards in his second game back after missing nine with a leg injury.
Damn Bron said fuck the team why the rest of them were walking up court Bron ran down with the ball and went one on five. Then after the play they tried to dap him up he walked off
Beatdown I told you we need to find minutes for House and also why are they posting articles of Boston in the Heat thread? Don't Boston have a 2 page season thread going
I think the Heat played very well. During this stretch without Bron, Wade, and Bosh we have been playing close games and this has had a great effect on the bench because it is allowing them to get some experience. The back up players have been stepping up and this experience should only help the Heat when everyone is HealthyTechnically, it was a good win. Realistically, it was a lucky win. I honestly thought we were going to get foul because he just jumped right on him and slammed that ball (but to me it looked like he touched his arms in the same manner that it happend to house but see House actually got the foul). Obviously the officials didn't make the call.. so "technically" we won it.
Still a lucky ass win. I am happy we won and I am rooting for the heat but with a game like that, ain't no way we can count on shit like that to beat the Celtics.
current east coast standings...
1) Boston
2) Chicago
3) Miami
4) Orlando
Its crazy how the Bulls jumped up to the 2 since they 10-0 in the division.
this was a crazy game tonite with an even CRAZIER ending.....we got the W, i'll take it!
But how is it they are 2nd when both them and Mia got the same record as of right now?

Heat got lucky last night...that big soft clown couldn't make a lay-up
