The only way for the Heat to quiet most of this negative talk is to beat the Lakers tomorrow night. :hmm:

Yeah the Lakers, that Western Conference team that they beat on Christmas Day. The only other team that has taken as much heat as Miami.
Should be a good game. The loser is guaranteed to get shytted on in this forum.

If LA loses no one is gonna say shit...they are on a long road trip, and an even longer winning streak.

If the Heat lose...what else can we say?...if they win, their fans will hope it's the start of something.

Truth is...with the Big 2 1/2 that they have, they can win on any given night, but their core problems will still exist.

youre really having fun huh?

Keep in mind this is just the regular season. The Heat are playing like shit now...but theyre stil going to the playoffs. And like Lebron said everyone starts off 0-0 when the playoffs start.

I too think that the Heat are overrated and about 2-3 years away from winning a title. But who's knows what will happen. There might be some major upsets in both conferences. Out East Miami might upset the Celtics. Then the Bulls might beat them and go to the Finals.

Playoffs just a few weeks away. After we clinch tomorrow imma start searching for good playoffs tickets/seats.

Cant wait!

The problem that people keep forgetting!!!
What you do in the regular season, against the teams that are going to the playoffs, means everything!!!

The excuse that people use when they are losing is that "the regular season means nothing" but when they are winning they say,"see we told you our south beach, big three are winning 7 straight titles!!!"

but the very "meaningful" part of the regular season is ........

1)Heat are 1-10 against the top 5 teams in the NBA(that they may meet in the playoffs)

2)Heat are 2-8 against the top 4 teams in the east(that you may meet in the playoffs)

3)heat are below .500 against teams over .500(14-18)

Werd! It's funny how Dudes discount the regular season when their teams are fucking up!!! If these Clowns were on their way to breaking the Bulls reg season wins record  which was the talk of the Damn board last September, then their tunes would be different. Second Round flameout, a lot of whining bitching and complaining coming up.... LeBron has another off season to explain how it wasn't his fought and how his fans have another off season to talk about how he put up some of the best numbers in the REGULAR SEASON??!?!?!?! Front Running, Karl Malone assed Nicca!!!

miami heat!!
take mental and physical notes!!

this is what "real" teams do after games.
"work on their defense","pass the ball" and "practice sets". Not one on one iso's every possession. Not cry after "regular season game" and bitch about"the world hates us and they happy we are losing"wade quote:smh:

I'm just going to bump this thread one time cause the haters and jokesters were out in full force when the heat was losing.

Anyone of you simple kneegrows care to comment on how the Heat swept the two time world champions while you sitting up there posting rings and trophies and shit?

Nah...the only thing folks (who saw the game) wanted to see if Miami fans were going to come in acting like the win somehow changed Miami's destiny....I saw the game and frankly the Heat were lucky considering the number of no-calls (especially against Kobe). You can't even breathe on Kobe without being called for a foul but YET the Heat were allowed to hack the shit out of him in the closing minutes. Say what you want but the NBA gave the Heat a little home-cooking at the end of the game and that should be expected. Even so, the most important (real) comment made was made at the end of the game...This was the LAST time Kobe will see the Heat....

The Lakers aren't their problem right now. Their real problem is elite teams in the East. The teams they have to play in the playoffs in order to get to the finals to have a chance at a trophy and and ring

They keep playing the way they played last night, they should be strait.
-ball movement
-bosh working the post
-rebounding(not standing around)
-over dribbling
-James and Wade attacking the defense

Heat Fan checking in....

The Heat have been working Bibby in to the rotation and giving him big minutes.

That's why we have seen inconsistent play.

Even in the loses the Heat , save for the Spurs, have been in every game with a chance to win it.

I don't like the losing however I understand what is going on.

The radio talk shows down here are killing them worse than the board here.

I think people will be surprised come playoff time.

2006 was the same way, the same record, at the same point in the season.

Cranrab made another good point in another thread.

Dwade does not need to handle the ball as much as he is turnover prone.

Bibby is a sure handed vet.

Kobe Bryant 5-10 all time vs. LeBron James

We know one team the Lakers dont want to see coming out of the East in the Finals. The Celtics, Bulls, or Magic are a better match up.

i thought this was funny

http://www.complex.com/sports/2011/03/the-miami-heat-have-cost-one-local-bar-85000
The Miami Heat Have Cost One Local Bar $85,000

It sounded like a simple enough promotion. Every time the Miami Heat lost this season, the Whiskey Tango All American Bar & Grill would give anyone who stayed for the entire game a $25 bar credit. Assuming the Heat lost just a handful of games as projected by most NBA talking heads, the owners of Whiskey Tango would only stand to lose about—*carries the 3, adds 2*—well, let's just say the promo would pay for itself. But at this point, the Heat have lost 21 games—and the Whiskey Tango owes about 17,000 rum and Cokes (or roughly $85,000!) to its customers. Free promo FAIL!

Big ups to the Heat on a big win.... now they just have to prove they can beat the elite teams in the East in order to possibly see the Lakers in the Playoffs.... Must say, they did look a lot better though, can they consistently play that way and that balanced... :dunno: Doubt it...

I hope this is one of those most like the 1st Cleveland game where the band of brothers get in sink and make a nasty run like that December 2 remember. Beating a team of the caliber of the Lakers with arguably the best player in the game in a close win has to spark something in them

Mike Miller was huge, he wasnt just standing out there, and The Heatles got on the boards, got Bosh working on the post and in the 4th gave it 2 he man who needs 2 have it Wade
