That's why the NBA sucks. We all know who will win the title. Only 3 teams max even have a chance. NFL has a much better competitive balance. Half the league

Right. But even though the Pats have dominated the AFC they still can be beat. They still may not get to the Superbowl. They have been stopped a number of years. No one can stop Golden State. It's not even close. Niggas don't play any kind of defense, faggots need rest. Can't play no more than 70 games. Fuck these pussies.
60s bostonExactly, super teams ruined the NBA, coupled with league expansion and rules limiting your ability to slow down these cats.
But to be honest, their have always been dominant teams in every sport.
We can't sit here and act like the Patriots have not dominated the AFC for the last 17 years or so. Jordan took all the intrigue out of the NBA during the 90's, even I got tired of seeing Jordan win after he came back, and won back to back. Also, won 10 straight scoring titles to go along with it, that shit was too damn predictable every fucking season.
Lakers were a super team too in the 80's, a lock to go to the Finals. At one time, they had the all time leading scorer and all time assist man all time, at the time, on the same damn team.
No one making an attempt to play defense is not entertaining. This is the worst I've ever seen it. Niggas running right by for layups over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. 35 ft 3's are fuckin absurd. Niggas who have no business taking 3's are shooting. This does not excite me!!!
Go back to those years and you had more teams you still wanted to watch even though they weren't going to win the title. In the 80's you would love a Boston- Atlanta matchup on a Wednesday night. Let me ask you.........how excited you are about a Magic-Nets game on a Tuesday. I really believe expansion fucked up the league as well. there are too many teams and players who don't fuckin belong in the league. More doesn't always mean better.60s boston
80s Lakers
90 bulls
10s Warriors
Fools act like dominant dynasties are new and bad for the game
We gonna act like Milwaukee ain't suck for 30 years?Go back to those years and you had more teams you still wanted to watch even though they weren't going to win the title. Nigga got ejected from the bench lmao
To go even further niggas don't even know how to properly box out or even feed the post. Can't even set a screen right. Niggas don't pick up the ball handler till the opposite 3 point line. They don't communicate on defense. Have no idea how to hedge on a screen. How is this shit exciting? Constantly when a big man gets position in the post he gets a fucked up pass and has to reposition himself and lose the position down low he already had. Pick and roll play is not used as often as it should be. Just fuck the way this shit is played completely.Definitely hard to watch, if you are a fan of fundamental basketball. All these 3's by non shooters is ridiculous.
When I came up, only "3 point specialists" were really allowed to take more than a couple on 3's a game. We were taught as a kid, that it was a very low percentage shot just to get 1 extra point.
These cats do not play defense, partly because of the rules and lack of toughness, and lack mid range and go-to moves.
Watching the regular season is a waste of time, unless you are just following young players to see how they develop.
Real talk... he concerns me.We found the guy who can take down the Dubs....lmbao!
Yeah, that shit been around.
Jordan really shitted on the league like no other.
He dominated the sport, the individual shit, and the shoe game like nothing you will ever see in 2 lifetimes.
Nobody even threatened his crown in his prime. No matter who he played against or beside, he was clearly always the best on the court, and players feared him.

That Houston team would have been a problem for them I believe. I would have liked to see that. Jordan never went up against a dominant big in the finals that's the only thing.Homie would have had 8 straight had he no got suspended... I mean retired those 2 years
Oh I watch. I'm just watching some bullshit that's all.Lol. I feel you, but this is where we at in today’s era.
And I’m definitely not going to stop watching because the league has changed. I don’t watch football anymore, so this is it for me. Either the NBA or The Black Crew. Lmaooo
Homie would have had 8 straight had he no got suspended... I mean retired those 2 years
Oh noooooo he'll only have 2!!
You thought they were going to win.
@playahaitian
And when I finish serving aint gone be no sequel
mcgee...stephenson...rondo...beasley...all underdogs I’ve followed for a minute...lonzo and the ball family who I’m supportive of as well...then you add the best player in the league...kinda hard for me not to root for this team esp. since folks have the whole team as underdogs...I was really surprised when some said they wouldn’t even make the playoffs...still a nets fan but I definitely need another team to watch and pull for a little bit cuz it’s gonna be another depressing season for the nets
They will make playoffs just will be a low seed. I think they will be an average team. Offensive will be ok and defense will be ok. Nothing great. I still don't think the personnel fits together though....I wasn’t sure how Ball was going to fit with Rondo on the team, but now I see he where he is fitting in.
With LB, Stephenson, Kuzma, and/or Hart on the court he can be a 4th option with less pressure. So basically, he is learning to be efficient. Make good plays, be confident in his shot, and play pesky defense (doesn’t have to be great, but pesky as hell).
He doesn’t have to take on the scoring load, but score enough to where the defense have to respect him.
Lakers got streaker shooters, so their 3 game is going to be up and down, but I think they might be able to defend better. Some miscues, but acceptable with a new team early this season. I enjoy watching them hoop.
How much were they up by?How the hell did brooklyn lose against the pelicans?
Best way to put the LakersThey will make playoffs just will be a low seed. I think they will be an average team. Offensive will be ok and defense will be ok. Nothing great. I still don't think the personnel fits together though....

He'll get more if KD leave
I cannot believe I'm a warriors fan.
Cause I just love watching the monstars.
And they still haven't incorporated Boogie.
And low key Iggy may actually be the most important piece
And quiet is kept I have NO IDEA if Kerr is actually a good coach.
Could he do THIS with the current rosters in Boston? Bucks? Denver? Utah? Toronto? New Orleans?

Nonsense is flying all through this thread. He averaging 35 with kd on the court now tho lol
NEW ORLEANS -- Jrue Holiday highlighted a 26-point performance with a pull-up jumper near the foul line with 2 seconds left, Anthony Davis stole Brooklyn's last-gasp inbound pass, and the New Orleans Pelicans remained unbeaten by scoring nine straight over the last 1:49 in a 117-115 victory Friday night. How much were they up by?

Holiday's clutch jumper gave New Orleans a one-point lead, but Brooklyn's Ed Davis was assessed a technical foul shortly after and Holiday made a free throw before Anthony Davis leapt to tip Joe Harris' inbound pass to himself as time ran out.
Please watch the highlights!!!

I agree. At the very least one of those Rockets-Bulls series would have been very close. People underestimate how good those teams were cause Jordan was out.Jordan was unstoppable... it would have been great to see
