The Finals are in June. Tonight KD scored 51 and they lost. 51. I dont care who wasnt playing, normally when your guy drops 50+ you win. Now Steph will be back Saturday and KD defers and goes back to #2.

That Spurs/Raptors trade looks pretty even so far.
Pop and RC let hubris get the best of them. They turned down a ton of young talent/picks from the Lakers/Clippers because they wanted to control where Kawhi didn't go. They ended up trading away two starters -one being a top 5 player- for an above average 2 guard who can't shoot beyond mid range.
Yea.. Not to mention he just lost his wife as well.. But they truly did themselves a disservice by not trading Kawhi to the team who offered the best package out of spite. They would have had a very strong young core and assets. Now they have a collection of high priced spare parts.
They cared more about not letting a player dictate their destiny (which might inspire others to do the same) to them then setting their franchise up in the best possible way for the future.

I root for my home teams, and if they lose I rep the western conference team in any sport. I root against the Yankees, Red Sox, Bulls, Patriots, Miami etc. So maybe that's where you think I'm a Warriors fan, but I rooted for the Spurs against both LeBron and the Pistons. I rooted for the Mavs against the Warmth when Stern told the refs to blow the whistle.
I still follow all the players the Lakers and Dodgers drafted. One to see if management made a good decision and two cause I'd like them to succeed. However when they play the Lakers fuck em.

People love to come in and say they should have did this or that; but unlike baseball, basketball you have to match the salaries; why would any team give up any viable assets when they know the player can leave after 1 year? and the player has basically stated he wants to play in L.A. So unless the Clips are Lakers were willing to give up something of valuable, which reports came up that they werent, then Spurs did the best they could; to get back a solid player back and dump some salary, I thought the Spurs made out pretty decently. Spurs had a 2o year run of being at, near, or on top; thats pretty amazing; i hate the spurs but what they have done has been remarkable...
