Do you feel Harden's domination of the ball ices the rest of his teammates?
In this Dantoni system no.. He has to be ball dominant especially without 3 of the Rockets other best players. You got him and Austin Rivers as the only 2 players to create shots when Gordon got hurt again tonight. They literally need dude to put up 40+ points a night to win with all the injuries they got.

I think you have to look to change the rules if the offensive player is seeking contact and then flopping when the contact is made.
Good point. Plus I just wanna point out despite his 58 points dude went 5 for 19 from 3. That's fuckin ridiculous and most of those misses lead to easy baskets by the Nets going the other way which lead to the loss. Shit is not a championship formula at all. :smh:

If feels like fools gold. I rather have a team hot than a player hot. Feels like when Harden is cold, the team is cold. Ball movement, back cuts, screens, etc just keeps players active.

Waiting around the three point line while Harden (or anybody for that matter) goes one on one over and over again just doesn't feel like winning basketball.

National Bitchassedness Association.

Still love pro ball but I hate this D'Antoni league. I miss real man teams back in the day like the Celtics, Pistons, Bulls, Pacers, Knicks, and Heat who used to get after mofos on the defensive end.
I agree Drizz. This is some bitch shit. :smh:

If Dantoni's your coach, you aren't winning. Defense wins championships and his team's don't play defense. Looks good in the regular season though.

Not being argumentitive but do you prefer this high scoring NBA vs sub 100 scores we had in the past.

Man I like offense and I love 3's but I'd rather see a grind it out game with a little bit of everything. Perimeter and low post play. Now everybody plays like Golden State to me but says fuck defense. Hell I know you see this Pelicans-Warriors game right now

Of course depending on one player is fools gold in the long run but look at the Rockets roster right now with no Capela, Cp3 and Gordon.. It's basically out of necessity right now. 70 percent of the current roster is niggas from the D-league or on 10 day contracts.

Remember, this is the team that was one game away of possibly beating the Warriors if it wasn't for CP3's injury.. They playing the same system from last year, it's just that Harden has a lot more burden with 3 key starters hurt.

I'm watching the Pelicans as we speak, very exciting game and get what you're saying, you're not seeing much difference between the teams.

Lol re read your statement

Traditional bigs who couldn't shoot from past 5 feet can now make 3 pointers

And d isn't gone completely good teams still lock people up

But also d left in the 90s when they decided you can't touch Jordan so don't put it on this generation

i dont need to re-read....bigs now shoot 3s like everyone else....brook lopez was a plodding center...NOW he shoots 3s....shooting 3s wasnt the game before...now it is

there arent any teams locking anyone down anymore....games are now 3 point contests....its no mistake that the best 3 pont shooting teams are now the best teams in the nba....you think that is a mistake?

if you think D today is harder than it was 25 years ago....i dont know what else to say to you breh

was just looking at the highlights from the pelicans-warriors game from last night.....

i really hate how the game is played now.....

out of a combined 200 shots lastnight almost HALF were 3s....half....

but then again both teams hit 50% of the 3s they shot....

NBA fucked up by cutting the shot clock to 14 seconds after a miss and offensive rebound too. I know what they were trying to do with cutting down dead time at the end of the game with all these fouls but they should have put that rule in with 1 minute left. Teams now have to chuck it up quicker which leads to more possessions overall in the game. :smh:

Boogie just said the Warriors the most hated team in sports???

Its always so laughable that these guys convince themselves that everyone else hates them.

That was big of Kyrie to speak on it publicly. He didnt really have to.

Kyrie couldnt continue on like this and expect to take these guys anywhere.

The worst type of leaders are the ones who say "we" when they win but say "them" when they lose.

While,I appreciate him apologizing to Lebron. I wish, him and Lebron talked it out maybe both of them would of stayed.....then again,I am talking about an owner, who didnt want to upgrade the pieces around them.....

I wish, these players understand that it take a team to win a title....The Warriors is the perfect example of this, they understand it takes a team to win a title.

I agree, and I wonder if it comes from the fact that none of these guys came into the league as the next big thing who's supposed to have next. All of their success has come from playing together. Other then Durant of course, who for some reason I still dont see a Warrior in some ways.

It's harder to guard people who have skill.
Period.
We can argue the rules about how you can play defense but again that came in the 90's when super stars started getting superstar calls. that's not new to today. so don't blame it on today.
