He certainly was a waste of a spot this past offseason... He's clearly washed up and never was a core player. I don't have a problem with them moving on from him.
(I disliked the Iguadola trade because he has been a core player, but I liken that to the Knicks trading Oakley for Marcus Camby or Starks + change for Latrell Sprewell. Being sentimental has its place but you can't completely disregard logic for the sake of emotion.)
