But even numbers are the optimized devices, ( better software, features, optimized versions of the same tech and specs of the previous model)...

Just pre-ordered the Ultra. Last Galaxy I had was the S22 Ultra, currently have the 15 Pro Max as my main phone but been waiting to go back to Galaxy for a minute now. Keeping the 15 for business instead of trading it in.

Funny thing is I've had most of the Ultra series and I've never once used the S-Pen and I wasn't aware of it's features, so it really won't feel like a loss for me. When I want to do photos away from the phone I always just used gestures to take them. I don't see any other reason I'd have to use it.

I guess this is what they are hoping most people will navigate to. That, and just saying "take a pic" or "record video".

Now you can't even use gestures with the pen though. It was just stupid to remove that feature though. Hopefully they put it back in the 26 version. I'm sitting this one out.

I never used gestures with the pen. If you hold your palm out towards the phone it takes a picture, I'd set the timer for 5 seconds, hold my palm out, it'll recognize that, then I'd pose and prepare for it to snap the photo 5 seconds later.
