By saying that the elite level of NFL QBs consist of Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson.......oh and Jalen Hurts in at the bottom of that list, considering that 3 of those 5...

Joe Burrow has 1 game played in Super Bowls in his career
Josh Allen has not won any championships in his career He has been to two conference championship games, but has lost both
And Jalen Hurts is BELOW them..
And people who do this can say that with a straight face...This DEVALUES winning a SB and game MVP.
Hurts is not some flash in the pan or a Nick Foles (and I like Foles) whose career has been inconsistent and tho he won a confr champ, SB and game MVP it was for HALF A SEASON of work. Thats not Hurts by a long shot. His wins and SB experience SHOULD place him in the 2 spot under Mahomes. Anything less is insulting

I won't debate that but I have no problem with hurts getting it.
they are in effect saying that 17 game regular season stats are MORE VALUABLE than post season results or the whole season of 20 games including playoffs and championship.
By this logic..as long as Lamar, Josh and Joe have better stats than Jalen in the regular season....Hurts could win 5 rings and STILL be low man on that totem pole.

Then they need to explain why none of them can win the superbowl with all these great stats they have...
It’s really stupid! Jalen didn’t change the eagles this year; it was saquan and the defense!!!
We can say that for other teams as well.
But the QB will always get the most praise regardless.
Hurts did his damage because of how the defense stop and controlled KC; so to me a defense player should have gotten the award!!
Most QBs can’t function without a running game and hurts is no different; the eagles were ok at best last year and got hammered in the playoffs; difference this year is good defense and the offensive player of the year!!!!
I just feel like they have been shitting on hurts all year while praising these other QB's who haven't won shit because they got pretty stats.
