Joe Burrow Recalls The Brutal Hit That Made Him Want To Be Like Tom Brady (VIDEO)

Here’s how the Bengals quarterback described it during an interview on Brady’s “Let’s Go” podcast:

“To kind of take it back on that toughness that Tom was talking about,” Burrow said. “My earliest memory of something like that from a quarterback is, Tom, I think you were playing the Bills maybe or the Titans. You were running to the right and you slid, and somebody just knocked your head off. The helmet goes flying…

“You got up so fast, and I saw that and I was like, ‘I want to be like that. I want to do that.’ I forget how old I was. I was probably in middle school at this point, but I just remember that vividly and trying to model myself after that.”

In case you need a refresher, here’s a look at the hit:

The one about someone laughing at something that wasn't even remotely funny.

:roflmao3:

Got a coworker that I have worked with in years past at other locations. Have also seen them at some staff meetings. They've got a heart of gold. Family man in their 50s ... hard worker ... good energy with everybody. But their odd personality quirk is the loud, hysterical laughter in general conversation ... when something is not even funny. Not even close. A nervous habit, I suppose. I sat next to them at a staff meeting a few years back ... and they were bringing up general points followed by HUGE laughs. I almost started laughing at the uncomfortability of it all. Everyone else was taking it in stride ... but best believe I was scanning the room trying to see others' reactions.

:roflmao:
