An Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-view event is much more than just a night of fights. There's a host of activities going on around Vancouver this weekend that will give even those of us without a ticket a chance to meet our favourite fighters in the flesh.

If you're looking for an autograph with an MMA hero, show up at one of these locations and you'll be in luck:

Friday June 11:

2-3pm: UFC Fight Club Q&A at GM Place, with Chael Sonnen (members only)

3pm-5pm: UFC 115 weigh-ins at GM Place (free and open to the public)

5:30pm-7:30pm: UFC Undisputed 2010 tournament and Anchor Bay DVD release, with Chael Sonnen and Jon Fitch (no charge - tourney sign-up from 1pm)

Props to Megumi (I never questioned the outcome, but some folks stateside are cynical when it comes to Japanese fighters). I predict she'll dominate the upcoming tournament.

That split-decision main event was pure bullshit. Imada clearly won the first 2 rounds. I'd even argue he likely won the 3rd. I don't know what fight the judges were watching.

i dont think imada realy did any damage.
yea he had him against the cage for the most of the first round but they were both kneeing each other.

The same argument can be made the other way around. The BIG difference is that Imada was controlling the pace of the fight the first 2 rounds. And the cut above Imada's eye in the 3rd looked a lot worse than it really was (even then Imada was still able to get a take down afterwards, and was never in ANY danger during the 3rd).

Like I said, he clearly won the first two rounds off the fact he was controlling the fight.

Fujii is also a highly decorated fighter outside of Mixed Martial Arts. Megumi Fujii was also a multiple time contestant on the seasonal Japanese obstacle course Television show Sasuke (Ninja Warrior). Though she did well, she has never made it past the first stage.

:cool:I'm looking for Court to win, but if Kris' tough ass can hang he may pull the upset. Still can't believe Kris had the most fights during the whole season.:eek::eek::eek: Jaime had better win his fight too or he will go down as the biggest busta in UFC history.

Yeah - Yager's got too much talent to be a busta. Just too bad his heart/mental game isn't as strong as with the other cats. He talks the talk ... but has to fully walk the walk and prove himself.

Yeah ... Court's a solid fighter. I hope he takes it. Not too fond of Kris' fight game.

Kris' fight game is terrible but he has heart and is tough as nails.

Yeah - I give him credit on his heart/drive and the fact that he's a genuine person and was good with his teammates and others in the house. Respectful fighter right there ... that's some good shit. Also on the fact that he too knows that he's still in the early stages. As he noted ... "Savage is still in the embryonic stage ..." and noting he wasn't there yet, but he was making his way into becoming a better MMA fighter over time.

Enjoy the bouts tonight, everyone.

Just started 25 mins ago in Canada (with the replay later on ROGERS SPORTSNET as well). I've got the pvr running and put it on for an extra 30 mins as often the TUF finales runneth a bit over, haha. Looking forward to WEC 49 tomorrow on VERSUS and THE SCORE too!

is there a reason why more guys from this season aren't fightin' in the season finale??

did they decline to fight in the finale or were they just not invited??

This is usually the number of fights you see from a season's alum. They don't bring back everyone ... just the people who put on the best showings during the filming of the season, and of course the people who MIGHT have a shot at getting a few more shots in the UFC (win or lose) once all is said and done. They pick the match-ups that we would have liked to have seen on the show itself (considering there's usually some bad blood/animosity between contestants each season).
