California’s indoor mask mandate has been extended one month, through at least Feb. 15, Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly announced in a briefing Wednesday.
The mandate went into effect on Dec. 15, 2021, and was set to expire Jan. 15, 2022. It requires that masks be worn in all indoor public settings — regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
While several counties have already imposed their own mask mandates after California’s “grand reopening” on June 15, 2021, about half of the state’s population live in counties that do not have their own masking requirements.

Before the statewide mandate went into effect last month, masking was a recommendation rather than a requirement, except in certain indoor spaces like public transit and schools.
Now, face coverings are required for everyone in all indoor public settings like gyms, malls, restaurants and stores.
Masking was already required for unvaccinated workers at high-risk congregate and other health care setting

I said nothing that remotely sounds like it’s a benefit to being unvaccinated.. what I’m clearly pointing out is being vaccinated is not the end to be all.. that even if vax you need to follow protocols and safety measures..they sold ya the idea once you’re vaxxed you’re good..remember I’ve asked this question several times on this board and in real life many vax hate this question and get quite..when’s the last time have you checked your updated covid status? Most people stay quiet cause once they got the shot they no longer updated their status a lot stopped wearing their mask a lot started going to large gatherings without a care in the world.. they think if they eat at an eatery with a bunch of vaccinated people that they can’t catch it.. when the reality is all you need is one tainted individual and that bitch will start another spread..this is literally what’s happening in nyc..
