What we normally regard as genre doesn't make sense to me. Other than that most genres are created by people who don't even ask for your or my opinion when they are putting sound into genres. And most genres are created for marketing purposes. So i regard all that is broken down in genres as being sound and i break sound down into two categories music or noise. Definitions of music and noise are as follows: Music makes you think of doing something constructive when you listen to it, whereas noise makes you think of doing something destructive when you listen to it. Thanks how i break it down. What people regard to as heavy metal, to me is just noise and that is because it does not help me think constructively when i listen to it.

Since when did record sales have anything to do with an artists level of respect? Hip Hop was, is, and always will be underground. Cats kill me listening to the radio wondering why hip hop is dead. It ain't dead! Turn your fucking radio off and search for the shit like we've always done. Any REAL hip hop head will tell you that their heroes NEVER sold any records and were NEVER played on the radio except the late night mix shows.
