Philadelphia Rapper Ybcdul who recently went viral for digging up his opp’s grave has been shot & killed in West Philly

The FBI has a gang team that follows incidents like this. When he was making all of these comments they should of been following him around to stop an incident.

thought dude was fatherless

cant imagine a father allowing his son
to run around the city doing all that stupid shit
There's really nothing you can do as a parent.

Once they're grown, they do what they want.

They could be from a good home but choose to be in the streets wanting to be this fake tough guy.

i can't have remorse for these people. so called rappers/attention seekers enjoy the fruits that they sow

Man I had dudes that I grew up with that had both parents in the house highly successful, spent time with the kids etc, spoiled them etc. But my boys just got into the street life for whatever reason. And for some it was one sibling & the others didn't. Not to mention just about all of them played spots & some of them were in AP classes and went to college.

Second teen arrested in killing of West Philly rapper, gang member YBC Dul

An 18-year-old has been charged with fatally shooting a local rapper and West Philadelphia gang leader — the second teen in two months to face charges in the high-profile killing.

Rashawn Williams was arrested Tuesday and charged with the murder of Abdul Vicks, the 25-year-old rapper affiliated with the West Philadelphia-based gang the Young Bag Chasers, or YBC.

Vicks, also known as YBC Dul or “Mr. Disrespectful,” was shot multiple times in a drive-by-style shooting in Olney on Aug. 23. Vicks had just picked up a friend and was driving down the 100 block of West Olney Avenue when a white car pulled up alongside him at a stoplight. At least two people fired multiple shots into Vicks’ car before speeding off, police said.

Vicks was struck multiple times in the chest and a hand. In a panic, his friend drove back to his house on North Sixth Street, and then, with the help of his uncle, rushed Vicks to Einstein Medical Center, where he died just before 4 p.m.

Williams’ arrest follows that of 16-year-old Aiden Waters, who was charged with killing Vicks and committing two additional shootings in North Philadelphia in early September. Waters and Williams are both members of Fastbreak, a previously little-known gang affiliated with the area around Fourth Street, Nedro Avenue, and Spencer Street in Olney, according to court records and a law enforcement source.

Law enforcement said it was not immediately clear why the teens targeted Vicks, who had made many enemies across the city due to the cruel lyrics of his songs, which often mocked people who had been killed or shot by his gang and others. Assistant District Attorney Cydney Pope said at an earlier news conference that Fastbreak was likely “looking for notoriety” — an increasing driver of shootings in recent years as drill rap music has grown in popularity.

The night Vicks was killed, police said they recovered the shooters’ getaway car on the 6900 block of North 15th Street. The car — which had been stolen in Cheltenham Township a week earlier — had been burned, but detectives recovered ballistic evidence inside, as well as a series of fingerprints along the doors, the affidavit says.

Those fingerprints and bullet casings — as well as witness interviews, surveillance footage, and jail calls — ultimately led detectives to Waters and Williams.

Williams has also been charged with attempted murder, robbery of a motor vehicle, conspiracy, and related crimes. He is being held without bail at the Montgomery County prison.

Third teen arrested in killing of rapper and West Philly gang leader Abdul Vicks

A third teenager has been charged in the high-profile killing of a West Philadelphia-based rapper and gang leader this summer.

Naier Briscoe, 19, was taken into custody Wednesday night to face charges of murder and related crimes for his alleged role in killing 25-year-old Abdul Vicks, also known as YBC Dul, in a drive-by shooting in August.

Briscoe also faces a second murder charge in connection with another shooting just days before he killed Vicks, police said. In the early morning of Aug. 19, police said, Briscoe and others fired more than two dozen rounds into a car full of teenagers on the 200 block of East Duncannon Street in Olney, according to police. Marquise Saunders, 16, was shot in the head and killed, while another 16-year-old was critically wounded.

His arrest follows those of Aiden Waters, 16, in September and Rashawn Williams, 18, the following month. Waters is also charged in the Duncannon Street shooting, as well as a third shooting the day before, in which a 14-year-old and a 43-year-old man were injured.

Law enforcement officials said the three teens are associated with a street group from Olney known as “Fastbreak” and targeted Vicks in part because of his fame as a local rapper. Vicks, better known as “Mr. Disrespectful,” was the main face of a Mantua-based gang known as the Young Bag Chasers, or YBC.

Vicks had built a name for himself in the city’s drill rap scene, particularly for his cutthroat lyrics that often mocked the people killed by his gang and others, and even their families. His signature line in many of his songs was: “I don’t give a f— who you is, I will disrespect you.”

Because of this, he built a long list of enemies, including, apparently, the young men of Fastbreak.

On the afternoon of Aug. 23, police said, Vicks was driving with one of his friends on the 100 block of West Olney Avenue. As he slowed to a stop at a red light, a white car pulled up alongside his and at least two people fired shots into the vehicle, striking him multiple times in the hand and chest, according to police.

Vicks’ friend rushed him to Einstein Medical Center, where he died shortly afterward.

The night Vicks was killed, police said, they recovered the shooters’ getaway car on the 6900 block of North 15th Street. The car — which had been stolen in Cheltenham Township a week earlier — had been burned, but detectives recovered ballistic evidence inside, as well as a series of fingerprints along the doors, prosecutors said.

Those fingerprints and bullet casings — as well as witness interviews, social media posts, surveillance footage, and jail calls — ultimately helped lead detectives to the three teens.
