Yes, I am late as hell but it took me some time to sit down and really enjoy this game.

The gameplay is dated as hell. For a sequel that was released 17-18 years after Shenmue II, it plays as if nothing in gaming has advanced in the nearly 20 years since Shenmue 2 but in a way that adds to it's charm but I also see how this can be very off-putting to people.

I really like the fact that the need to manage time doing things such as making money (working, gambling, flipping tokens) to pay for food and housing is necessary as well as managing time to train your kung fu. This sort of allows Ryo to feel more like an independent adult with responsibilities and shows growth in his character.

Overall the story was entertaining although without spoiling it, the story does NOT conclude with this game and Yu Suzuki is hoping to be able to make a Shenmue IV in the future.

Honestly it seems most Shenmue fans wanted the story to conclude with Shenmue III, me included, because there are a multitude of reasons why Shenmue III took this long took this long to get made and why Shenmue IV may not happen anytime soon or at all and top of that list is money. This game did not sell that well and it's reviews are mixed and its' fanbase is old. I hope if I see Shenmue IV sometime before I turn 60, that it concludes the story.

I'm seeing more of these newer releases dropping PS4 compatibility and it seems like the PS4 is finally going to be allowed to die, which means if you want to play the new shit you're going to need a PS5, which I wonder if that means they are going to become easier to find!

Also, those classic game compilations are great but if you understand emulators they are largely a waste of time and money because all of the stuff included on those can be emulated perfectly on a potato but I understand if you want them on your console and not your PC not all of yall are PC gamers.

Although the Atari50 collection is very nicely done and the documentary stuff is a good watch if you were into that company's stuff.

I think the Bundles are easier to find than solo consoles. :dunno:

For example: Here's a "God of War" bundle that you can buy directly from the PlayStation Store:

This link has been good for like a whole week now.
Not sure how much longer it will last tho. :dunno:

This is suppose to be delivered tomorrow, makers of Dead Space made this so it should be good. Hell I still haven't played all off GOW yet, only about an hour of it because I got COD and I've been playing the hell out of that lol. Not like the old days when I didn't have a job and could play all damn day. The amount of time I put on Nintendo 64 James Bond 007 was crazy...

Ok yeah it's supposed very good for kids a remake of a old super monkey ball game?

Imma cop it
Careful this the type of game discount they do right before it shows up as a freebie on PSN.

I just bought Mass Effect Legendary edition on sale right before it became a freebie on PS plus.

Debating if I should keep it or not.

Guessing the monthly PS+ freebies and now the PS Extra(whatever the newIsh Ps services are called) is a crap shoot. If it's a good sell and within your budget go for it. At least you outright own it.

With the PS+ monthly freebies, you have to be an up to date PS+ member to play them. You loose access the moment you stop paying for plus. This is why I'm thinking about keeping Mass Effect even though I'm not currently planning on giving up the service.
