Adams didn't shut down universal 3k and 4k he cut their budget just like he cut from the budget of every city run agency because of migrants.... Adams doesn't have a choice except to have the nypd run up in overtime. No one wants to work for the nypd or nycdoc anymore. Because of the political climate in the city. They both have a shortage of officers so there's no way around getting overtime.... from what I see he's still trying to fix Deblasios fuckups and dealing with the unprecedented migrant crises.

As a New Yorker, I didn't vote for Adams.
I didn't vote for Sliwa either.
I just could not stomach voting for either an "Empty Suit" (Adams) or a Buffoon (Sliwa).

But I don't doubt for a second that this is some revenge tactic by the Biden Administration. After Adams tore into them about not handling the "migrant" crisis on a Federal level. Making him a prime Big City Black "target". I admire that Adams didn't fall in line like other Black Mayors/Politicians across the country who ended up acquiescing to Biden and Co. Doing NOTHING about all these "migrants" pouring into this city. Getting Freebies on OUR BLACK TAX DOLLARS! While we have OUR People and Homeless Vets who desperately need those same services. I'm sure Biden's DOJ has shit on many of those Black Pols like Brandon Johnson in Chicago. Look how cowardly that dude (and Council people) has been. And those Brothers/Sisters in ChiTown have been tearing into him daily.
I'm not excusing Adams in the slightest.
But I'm not forgiving Dude for being Oblivious and STUPID!
Peeps like Him and Sean Combs (among others) think they can do what White Pols/Celebs do without any impunity.
