Popeyes chicken vs Popeyes sides- Do they even sell just chicken anymore?

KFC biscuits are much more consistent. But if you get a fresh Popeye's biscuit, even though it is impossible you would be shock how good it can be.

Maybe I've never had a fresh one, because damn.

I have $100 that nobody can eat two biscuits without having to drink something.

That’s his favorite movie scene

“I was drunk and wanted Popeyes”

“Why am I wilding out????? I AM YO MANS”

Pause :smh:

Red beans and rice are good I love the biscuits.

:smh:

Throat dry as shit, I bet you have to drink a galloon of water after

So you're saying "just chicken" is a secret menu deal only available in-person.

I've seen a lot of things go over the heads of BGOL members but never a fast food menu.
It didn't go over my head..... you posting it as a reply is what I was referring too..... and like I said... I've never.... had a problem getting chicken only....

.

Did they stop selling just chicken? I can't get anything there without their sides, which are all atrocious aside from the fries. And if you can get ketchup with a delivery order from them, @Yahweh must be on your side.

I'm really wondering if this is nationwide or just regional. It seems life the only ala carte option is that sandwich, which is great but if you actually get a hot one, you are obviously a lucky person.

All I want is some fucking chicken. :(

the few times i go i always just get chicken. not even the biscuits. just the chicken.

I think Popeye's probably makes a lot of money by not having "just chicken" options on the menu and it's a little surprising because I can't think of one other chain that does that.

Like Burger King spotlights combos but it always has the price available for just a Whopper. They try to steer you toward getting fries and a drink but it isn't the only option presented.

The chicken only specials are usually on big 3' x 4' posters in their windows...... you seem obsessed with this, when I already stated twice as what to do...... You're the customer that doesn't listen.... I wouldn't sell you any chicken... tell you that we ran out

Not sure if it is a location thing, but for years here in Houston, for my fam, I get a 9 piece (chicken only 'no wings please') for $11 and get large fries and 6 biscuits.

For those complaining about hard biscuits, throw them in the toaster oven on 350 for 5-7 mins, like brand new.

Then also outchea, we have a "Two For Tuesdays"
Two pieces for (prices varies store to store) anywhere from $1.29 to $1.59 for a leg and thigh. I can get 10 pieces and not even pay $10.

I'm not into having my food delivered, maybe that's why OP seeing all them dumb choices. I go to restaurants.

I remember once my son asked me to order Chick-fil-A on one of them apps. A normal $8 meal I get him came up to $20 on the app just to have it delivered. I said screw that and jumped in my truck and just went out there and bought it.

I'm a jew, not rich like the rest of you ballers. I got a family to feed. So...

So now you can order just chicken in the app.

Delivery price for an 8 piece in DC, pre-tax, pre-delivery fee, tip expected:

Outrageous.

$19.49 for pickup-- For four legs and four thighs! Half of the order is legs!! That's about three bites of meat each!!! And they want $20!!!!

The next time there is looting in the streets, I know where I'm going.

Check this link for your zip code

By me, I have gotten the 10pc family meal for $24.99 with the code. Without the code think it's like $34.99 which is crazy for 10pcs of chicken.

I remember I used to get a 12pc meal for something like $22-24. That was normal menu prices.

I’m familiar with the offers page— I’ve never seen just chicken in there. They do have a special for just wings right now but the closest I’ve seen to that for chicken is 5 pieces and 2 sides for $12.99, which I’ve gotten before.

Yall ain't got no Publix?

8 piece mixed is 8.99 and you can freeze it, throw it in Pyrex airtight containers, pull it out and reheat in an air fryer, comes out hot and fresh.

Where I am, I have 3 Popeyes roughly within 10mins drives. Not all stores have the same offers. If you're in driving distance of other locations, try and put another in as pickup and see if there's other offers. I think not all stores agree to national offers. Who knows why.

They've been doing this code thing over the past maybe 2-3 years, haven't seen coupons come anymore in circulars to the house, so not sure if they stopped them, but I've always seen regular pieces offered on that Offers link.

You often here franchise owners complain about national deals cutting into their profits, some of which may even cause a loss on the sale.

Some national promotions are a requirement, others they may give the franchise the option to not offer it

I go to the Popeyes on Tinker AFB and everything is fresh! They have to change the grease daily or fail the daily inspection. It's totally different than the Popeyes off base.
