I think the “honest man” routine is a ploy to an extent...esp. in regards to tate’s character and dre...his #1 goal is to secure that building for raina...once that’s accomplished I feel all bets will be off
EVERYTHING WRONG WITH LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE
- Angela just chilling up in Tasha's house w/ Ghost while Tasha is at the station. The 2 women are cool and all now, but come the fuck on.
- The guard was mad suspicious (course? teacher? school?), but let an asthma attack interrupt his focus/questioning?
- Ghost and Dre being cool is just about as believable as Ghost and Kannan ('Later K'). Guess an attempt on my life is suppose to be fun and games.
- Tommy going from not trusting his grimey ass Pops to "Ghost can say whatever he needs to say in front of you"
- Proctor's crafty ass being stupid enough to put coke in the child support envelope. Dude's way too sharp for that kinda move.
- The DA shutting down a case w/ good evidence all b/c Tasha didn't crack under pressure. Gun, bullet, ballistics, CPU search...anyone?
- Tariq kicking his leg up in the air when dapping up Kannan. Well, it actually fits his punk ass, so scratch that.
- Tommy and Angela texting each other re: a criminal conspiracy (turn it on, JLo).
- Tariq and Kanan texting each other re: a criminal conspiracy (PILLs...wtf?). Well, Tariq's fucking stupid, so scratch that.
Not sure what happened to the writing, but they definitely on some Empire shit right now. The Wire's legacy is intact.

As for Tariq, Kanan is starting to slaughter the cow in front of him to the point it shook him. Interesting to see where his head is at in these final 4 episodes.
