They can't kill Ghost off, but they had to make him look human. Most of this soft/weak Ghost will probably be attributed to his drinking.

Milan is the smartest, unemphatic character I have seen on TV this year. Within an hour he Turned the show and the main antagonist on its head. He is making another main character evolve. Haven't seen a character this bad ass since Gus in Breaking Bad.

Maybe the word you were looking for is ANTIHERO, a completely different concept but probably the best definition of Ghosts character.
Lastly, Ray (Craig Robinson) from Mr. Robot is 1000x better villain than Milan. He is a thoughtful, multi-layered character with a high level of complexity and depth. Milan is a weak caricature, the likes of which we've seen a million times. It's only fitting that he gets played by a guy who's always typecast into the same goon role all the damn time.
