Happy Slavery Day!
Time for you to take a break from Corporate media propaganda: This carefully documented, chilling history presents a radically different view of the profound role that slavery played in the founding of the republic, from the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution...

This is an interesting read about how this court finding no legal doctrine for slavery in Britain could have played a role in the American Revolution. The court ruling stated there was no common law, that both parties would have to consent to a contract - acknowledging us a human being.
They might have also wanted to colonize Africa and begin choking the slave trade off to them under the guise of being a good doer. It is a well known the practice of Europeans to keep their filth such as slavery and drugs away from the homeland. It was remarked about in the Godfather movie.
I have never visited the country and really don't know what it is like. I know in the United States that a person or group can commit atrocities due to a delusion, be rehabilitated through psychiatric treatment. John Hinckley is a perfect example of this phenomena.
