I always remember he was the first one up in the Vapors, a real smooth brother. A life well lived but gone far to young. Too many of the old school hip hop artist not seeing late 50's and 60.

My first time seeing this video was on a Saturday morning in the fall of '88. Yo! MTV Raps had just premiered and only came on Saturday mornings initially. I still remember seeing Vapors, You Gots to Chill, and MC Lyte's Paper Thin on those early episodes.
Mid 80's NYC style was Fresh
