So much truth. I can always tell they are bullshitting. Both of my boys are 99th percentile kids and on the rare occasion I see a kid that is taller, I check the hardness of their face and facial hair. No 12 year old is going to have a beard while being 6ft tall. My youngest lost to a team like that but he handled his business. I would feel terrible if I was 16 and was getting scored on by a shit-talking 12-year-old. My wife silly-ass asked one kid for his driver's license and the surprised look on his face said it all, we were at my oldest 14u tournament.
Any parent supporting their kids playing down ain't doing that kid any favors.
