Funny thing in our school system was that they hired mostly blacks in those positions. Well, somewhere along the line they started paying them well. So, years ago, it was only 2 whites(3% of custodians) doing custodial jobs in the system. It was a mother and her daughter. All of a sudden they're 38%. The homey in the HR office says that the number of whites applying is up 300% and ten times the number of blacks!
just like when the white boys got hip to the landscaping game
and took all the apartment and subdivision contracts overnight
try to tell these broads all the time
