All kinds of interest are crawling over the medical system, such as the government and business.

If he got injured playing football from some cervical injury, that other players are suffering from, having a liver diagnosis could be used to cover up. Assassination attempts by the government can be blamed on this condition. Maybe he used a product that injured him such as his smart phone.

Assassination attempts by the government can be blamed on this condition. You blame your bad genetics rather than some activity on the football field or even sports casting.

I hate when someone drops the dime on someone else's health information. It wasn't cool unless It's with permission. If Larry Fitzgerald senior did this without permission He's an asshole
Watching the Jamie Foxx what had happened was special I'm reminded of the same point. When Jamie Foxx was in the hospital all we had was speculation. That's all we had. nobody confirmed shit. They let us run wild with all our theories but nobody said shit out of Jamie Foxx camp. Not a nurse. Not a doctor. Not anybody trying for clout.

Randy Moss was a great athlete, that's how I know him. All I want to know about him is what I know about him And what he's willing to tell me, cuz it ain't my fucking business.

I wish they would have left him alone

The problems is that it would be highly curable if there was a way to detect it early. Most people don’t experience symptoms until it has metastasized

Here's another perspective I didn't consider.....

I was listening to a podcast about the economics around health-care/ Ozempic.....

The US spends hundreds of billions on health-care related care. Something like 16% of adults are overweight, 6% qualify as obese/severely obese.....

Studies (short-term) show that Ozempic and similar products work. They suppress your appetite and help the way your body breaks down the foods you eat. You lose weight. Gastric bypass/sleeves work. And people who are obese/severely obese but don't currently have diabetes benefit the most from these options.

Seems simple enough, a little extra money now, to save money on care related expenses later.

So why aren't these options covered by most insurance companies?

Because insurers aren't that loyal. Since most insurance is tied to a person's employer and the average American doesn't work the same job for 10+ years, the insurance companies aren't betting on capturing those "savings" later.

Basically companies estimate that it will take 5-10 years to see the benefits of those weight intervention solutions. Howeverz the average American changes insurance companies every 2-3 years. So why would they spend the thousands $$ now when more than likely the formally obese person will be at a new insurance company 5-10 years later and that company will be the one to benefit from that upfront cost.

I say all that to say. Cancer cures/ treatments are incredibly expensive. But the insurance company is betting on too much churn for the upfront cost to be a "savings" for them later. So there is no long term fiscal benefit for the companies to cover or invest in known effective treatments.

There's gotta be a doctor on this muhfucka to corroborate or refute this, but it's my understanding that what most people commonly think of as cancer is a much more complicated animal than we understand, and because there's such a wide spectrum of causes, aggravators, and treatment, it's really fucking difficult to find what would qualify as a "cure". in plain terms, it just not that simple.

man idon't remember us having a doctor on this bitch the entire time I've been here, how tf can that be lol
