This is also the reason it's difficult to detect cancer from what I understand and why so many cases can go undetected even when people are being tested for cancer.
But when they finally find the cancer, it's too late.
It also has to do with the inconsistency of which doctor you go, some doctors are just bad at their job.
Cancer is a very complex disease. I agree with you about the idea that there is more money in treatment than in curing Cancer. That has always been nonsense. In my experience, from caring for someone with Cancer and now having it, people want easy answers. Somehow, the person with cancer has done something that gave them cancer. They didn't eat right; they drank too much; they never exercised; they didn't pray enough, etc...word ...how the fuck we cant cure this dam disease n miss me with the it`s more money in it treating the dam disease shit..

The most significant factor in getting cancer and recovering from it is genetics. It's why some unhealthy folks never get cancer and why a world-class athlete in the prime of his career gets cancer. In the end, fighting Cancer is fighting yourself. Thanks to science, we have a fighting chance.
