I haven't seen it yet. With that being said, a friend of mine, who is in the Nation, said movie made Malcolm look weak. Did anybody else feel that way?

I loved it but my people all said this very thing. They HATED the fact that this portrayal made him look weak....They hated the story line between him and Sam because they said it made him look petty. They thought it was a denigration of strong Black male figures that we look up to.
